Ingun threw up a clawful of the powder that was used earlier at the woman.

“Adere!” Thomas shouted and the powder ignited and lit half of the room were the lady was on fire. Lasting but a few seconds he hoped it did something.

“I should probably help them” Thomas thought to himself as he heard the strange noises coming from the celler. And the yelling. “Ingun!” He called.

“Right behind you.” Ingun said as he flew up next to Thomas.

Thomas took a running start and raised his hand. As he neared the door he brought his hand down causing another large portal to open up. He leaped through and Ingun followed closely behind. Anthem portal opened up in the cellar. Landing in front of the other students. Ingun landed on his shoulder and screeched at nothing in particular.

“My guess is Gaelic.” Thomas said to the dragon as he walked away. Putting the books in his bag, he thought for a second “Wait a second, what is a dragon doing on school grounds? Much less one being alive?” he looked back then shook his head.

“Here’s your earnings.” A large man in a dirty suit said and tossed a small sack filled with dry breads, meat, and fruit to Patches. “Don’t eat it all at once.” He laughed and walked off.

Thomas picked the books back up after Orthelo signed off on them. Thomas, not paying attention to where he was going walked off and bumped into the back of something feathered. Quickly he looked up and his eyes opened twice as big.

“Well it seems I am intruding on something here,” he nevously laughed “I’ll just be on my way.” He said with a fake smile and turned on his heel to walk away.

Thomas gave another look around. Quickly but quietly he exited the Library. He pushed open the small panel to get back into the regular library. To draw suspicion away from him (in case anybody saw him) he quickly picked out some old history books about illusion magic and made his way over to the librarian to check the books out.

Thomas neared the end of the tunnel. As he crawled over a small ledge he pushed a small wooden panel open and brushed away some cobwebs. And here it was. The forbidden Library. Quietly he crawled out of the hole in the wall and looked around. The coast was clear. Slowly he stood up and walked over to the nearest bookshelf. He pulled out two thick, leather bound books and placed Incantations Tenebris (the book that In gun was reading from) being the row of books. He slid the other two back in.

Thomas closed the panel behind him and pulled out a small pouch fille with a mixture of gunpowder and firesalts (used in potions class). He put them in a small circle on the ground. “Ardere.” He whispered and the ground inside the circle caught on fire. He slowly slide his hands under the fire. It levitated above his hands, as he transfered it to his right hand. With the small fire in his hand he crawled through the small tunnel.

Thomas, who was now joined by Ingun as he flew in next to him, made his way to a secluded part of the library. Quickly making sure he was out of site from the rest of the people in the library, he took off one of his gloves and put a finger in the air. He lowered it down and tore a purple and black hole into seemingly nothing. Slowly he reached his hand in and moved it around. After a few seconds a small wooden panel popped open next to him. While Thomas crawled in, Ingun stayed behind to keep watch. The light slowly diminished as Thomas closed the panel.

Thomas rushed into the library, giving a quick wave to the librarian, who smiled and waved back. Trying not to raise suspicion he slowed down and walked normally. He brushed passed the only other students in there and headed towards the very back of the library.

Thomas and Ingun entered the school through a side door to avoid being seen by a teacher. As they checked their surroundings, Ingun split off into another hallway and headed towards the other end of the school. Thomas quickly straightened his bag and took off towards his room.
