Ritsuka Aoyagi (青柳立夏 Aoyagi Ritsuka) was born on December 21 and named after the lunar day “Rikka”. He is twelve years old(during the events of the anime and manga), and the main protagonist of both the manga and anime series. Ritsuka’s “true” name is Loveless, although it is yet to be appeared on his body like the other teams’ names are. He enjoys taking photographs and “making memories” and later in the series his friend, Osamu, from Ritsuka’s previous school states that Ritsuka used to be in a photography club in his old school, with Ritsuka usually taking pictures of humans while Osamu takes pictures of flowers and plants.
