Peter’s long ears twitched and he smiled “I wasn’t expecting an audience…but I’m happy to have one” he didn’t stop, he did however wink at her as he passed by

Peter shifted back into human form once he reached the double doors, he turned around to see if the girl had followed him but she was nowhere to be seen “hm, ah well, guess i’ll be doing this dance solo”. Checking to make sure no-one was watching, he took a broom from a nearby supply cupboard and made his way into the gymnasium. Taking the brush off the end of the broom and tossing it aside, he began to dance, incorporating the handle into his moves as he glided around the empty space

“If you’re sure, I’ll leave you to it…but I wouldn’t mind some company” he smiled at her “It’s up to you what you do but if you’re interested just follow the white rabbit, who knows where it might lead” he twitched his nose morphing into his rabbit form and hopping away down the corridoor

Peter made his way towards the gymnasium, passing by the same girl he’d nearly run into earlier, he stopped in front of her “you okay?”

Peter looked down at his pocket watch “Bollocks, first day and I’m already running late” he bounded through the halls, his ears held down in an attempt to be more streamlined, he narrowly avoiding knocking into a girl running in the opposite direction, he spun round to the left of her, vaulted over a mop and bucket left out by the cleaning staff and crashed in through the classroom door “42.39 seconds to spare not bad considering I had to double back on the third floor” he took a moment to compose himself and sat down

“We’ve barely met, how can you tell, unlike you i’m not naturally confident and cool” he stared down at his bowl and continued eating

he addressed the waitress “thank you” then turned to Mica “so what to tell you about me…I’m Elliot, you may have noticed I am very much English and a bunny…to be more specific a white rabbit…well the white rabbit…umm what else, I play croquet, that’s a thing I guess”

Elliot was overjoyed “I didn’t think there was anyone else with animal ears” he momentarily pulled his own ears out from amongst his hair “maybe it’s an animal transformation thing” they moved back into position “I suppose I should tell you about myself as well now…is there anything in particular you’d like to know or shall I just sat well everything”

So far so good, Peter had managed to stay under the radar up to now and hoped to keep it that way, he walked through the halls, avoiding unnecessary eye contact. It was just school he could get through it, another day, another pound…that was the expression none of this American nonsense
