To protect his those close to him, to protect his friends, to protect his students, to protect his growing family, until he realized he was fighting to protect those he was able to, those that for some reason were not able to protect themselves. There is nothing wrong with any career path that one chooses, as long as you have the passion for it and commit to it with dedication. No one here can answer that question for you, in all honesty, only you know where you wish to contribute your passion and dedication to the most. Perhaps you should try different things to see, what stirs your heart’s passion the most.
