Lost Souls
Reapers are meant to reap souls that cannot move on. But these creatures were once humans themselves who have forgotten who they were and how they died. They are used as machines used to kill, designed to not have emotions, and obey whatever commands them. But when a reaper begins to remember and gain emotions, they are called the Dysfunctional. Dysfunctionals are not accepted in the reaper society and are often eliminated by the Soul Keepers, reapers trained to hunt and detain other reapers. However, some Dysfuctionals are good hiders….

Annabelle walked down the streets while twirling her dual scythe, humans fazing through her, unaware of her presence. There was a Dysfunctional who has been causing massive chaos, Kai was his name. The capital has repeatedly failed at his capture and has ordered the Soul Keepers to “detain the filth”.
Annabelle’s unit wasn’t sent out, but she was known for going on her own hunts to stop whatever she deemed dangerous to the reaper society, so the Soul Keeper was allowed to leave the realm at any time. This Kai though….Annabelle thought of his file; …..Kai has escaped several times and had hunted many spirits that the reaper society has failed to acknowledge…..however strong as Kai is, he has, regretfully been discovered as a Dysfunctional, Level C. Level C is one of the more dangerous levels, which surprised her a bit, but oh well, he must have been strong for the capital to have personally sent out a team.
Hopefully Annabelle can get this Kai to join her….and maybe find some others that she can sense are hiding. Annabelle entered a broken down looking building and saw Kai playing pool, relaxed and having a few bets with humans. It surprised her how he didn’t seem to be hiding at all. The Soul Keeper approached the Level C Dysfunctional, looking relaxed. All reapers can see each other, in any form they are in, unless they are using a spell of some sort. “Hello…Kai was it?”

Yuu decided to walk around town without her weapon being visible, looking for any souls that couldn’t move on as well as making sure that there was no reaper near by to find out what she was. Always on guard she makes sure to always look around before walking any further.

*Liv shambled along through the crowds, she appeared her self to the humans but her scythe appeared to have no blade on it but a couple feathers tied to the top, she leaned heavily on it as always as she used it to walk along in the crowd her hat on instead of her hood so she looked a little bit more normal to the human eye, tap, tap, tap*

Yuu went in front of Liv “Excuse miss but do you have a mission? Reapers are not allowed to wander around the human world without having a mission.”

Yuu looked at the two “I see but you two realize dealing with Dysfunctional is hard and difficult correct?”

“of course we know it’s difficult, we’ve caught a few together”

“Ah I see, very impressive do you mind if I tag along then?”

“meh”, Liv said shrugging.”you can”, she said a little tiered from shambling, shambling was hard apperently.

“Thank you” Yuu says looking at them emotionlessly thinking to herself that these two may be dangerous and the best plan of action would be to blend in and observe, she was already use to acting like a regular reaper so it was very hard to tell she was Dysfunctional.

“yup”, she said before trying to use her legs they didn’t work for a moment then they moved,”ugh stupid soul, why you got to go around almost cutting reapers legs off”, she thought annoyed, tap, tap, tap her Scythe went.”lets go”, she said smirking a little.

-i set off a warning shot at annabelle- “take a step closer and i wont miss a second time bullets like this are expensive you only get one warning.” -i tell her as i start my motorcycle and i drive off quickly-
