-Virgil was standing at the dock of his new ship a beautiful vessel not of huge portions but a modest size nothing a pirate would attack because it would appear to be simply a fishing boat but it was altered an was well stocked with rum and wine below along with all his treasure below deck and three canons on each side and he was about to head to the new world. He walked onto his boat meeting his crew of fellow other patrons heading to the new world that would pay for there way there by keeping the ship operational and clean. He decided he was going to keep a log book since he was the captain of his vessel and it would need something if the ship crashed at sea.

Log March 19-One month at sea, we have lost four to sickness the crew is now at fifty people and many seem to have lost the spirit of reaching the New world.

April 1-One month and a half, there are only thirty of us left and we are falling like flies and were almost there.

April 9- A storm has started and I fear this is my last night so I shall write of this voyage so that maybe the finder of this book will know I tried to save those still alive. I gave a young girl who was with child my quarters with her sire and her brother while I slept with the men knowing it would be for the best in hope that new life would come to the new world. I gave the men my wine to raise there spirits but that only lead to fighting and death so I had it thrown over board along with the rum but I fear this had made the boat to light as we are being thrown around in this storm very easily…

He ran up on deck to help as the mast began to crack his men screaming as fear filled there hearts and he couldn’t help but to feel the same as he thought his life was coming to an end but he felt it was just for the many lives he had taken even though it was for the greater good of humanity he felt god would punish him.

He saw the mass smash and fall into the sea catching the leg of one of the men and pulling him over board. He was hit by a board that broke off from the ship and he rolled down the stairs so he was under the deck.

He woke the next morning to find himself stranded on the island with the ship smashed and the only body he found was of the young girl who he nursed back to health though he was afraid to tell her she would not give birth as a piece of metal had stabbed through her and had taken the life of her child. He patched her up and used some of the fruits of the island to help bring them to health but much more on this island and they would die so he began to scavage the ship seeing if it could be prepared but it was worse then he thought once he was on the inside. He sat down on a chest and cried fearing for the young girls life as she would die in his company if he did not find a way to save them so he began to rip off parts of the ship to build a fire hoping for a passing ship to see it.-

Dante Sailed the ship as he watched the sea pulling out his spyglass he looked out across the ocean still impressed to this day by its sheer majesty and immense wealth of knowledge it help for all life. While sweeping his view across the horizon he stopped and looked at it then slowly closed it and stopped blinking now and ordered a cores change,. He may be a pirate but people didn’t deserve to die like this. As the ship was brought hard to port he was careful for the reefs that had caught this man’s ship. Getting in a long boat telling the men that if he wasn’t back by sun down to leave without him. Taking and rowing to shore he looked back seeing the bellowing fire and the smoke that was coming up that fascinated him most. As he got to shore he hopped into the water and pulled the long boat up to shore and secured it in the sand then started in the direction of the fire and smoke. “Please still be alive.” His ship was flying a white flag at this point and showed no signs of threat.

He continued to walk for hours before he finally came with in view of the fire and the woman. “Ms. Are you okay?” he asked rushing towards her not having noticed the assassin. As he kneeled down beside her and watched her body be limp. “Come on I can get you to port there at least you will be safe.” Picking her up carefully in his arms he carried her towards the long boat not sure how much time she had or if she would even make the trip back to the long boat. He stopped looking to the man on the chest that he had seemingly missed the first time. “Sir I could you an extra hand on my ship I will get you as far as the nearest port and then you’re on your own. Free of charge. Never say Dreadnaught is without mercy.” He then continued to walk towards the long boat.

-Vic rushed off the slave trade ship, careful of the English guard aboard it. Her back stayed to the edges and she covered herself in dirt to appear more of their tone. She falsely hooked herself up to one of the slave strings and followed it out. Before they got too far, she slipped from her chain and ran off into an alley of the town. She brushed the dirt from her and smirked like she was a bad ass. She ripped off borrowed rags and let her stolen armor shimmer as she ran.

Her hand clasped on her dagger and she began to scout the town out. It was simple and she kind of liked it. She moved through and looked at the homes. The first thought in her mind was “suckers…” but she also then started to see the poor. She left out a “tch” sound and walked past beggars. They were begging her yet she had nothing herself. Just the dirt in her hair and the stuff she had stolen.-

-Virgil stood up and pointed at the treasure aboard his ship”get us off this island and to the New world and you can have your share of it once we are safe”. Virgil helped carry the girl onto the long boat and waited till they got back to the mans ship before he began to look around the ship scanning the men and the way they carried themselves so he smiled. He pulled his hood up covering the upper half of his face checking the hidden blades under his sleeves happy to see they were not damaged at the slightest but he would need to repair his other blades and his rope darts which were lost in the storm.

He waited to be attacked at any moment as he realized these were pirates just by the way the way they carried themselves so this was not a civil ship because the people would be more fearful of a new man and woman and it wasn’t a naval ship because everyone would be in salute to the captain this way a pirate ship.-

Dante looked at his crew and stepped to the helm and they set out to sea sailing around less dangerous paths in fact he was following after the storm that put the man and woman on the shore. Humming softly a book poked out of his shirt some as he kept that held close as they moved through the sea. “So tell me what’s your story its going to take a day or two so might as well learn who I have on bored.” The crew seemed weary of him and people started to whisper things about him saying he tried to murder the woman that he was worse than them because he was a child killer. Dante ignored his men but still kept as best a watch on him as he could. Once they were being pulled along in the wake of the storm he let go of the wheel and headed into his cabin and pulled out the book that was in his shirt and started to look over them. This stuff was so advanced he understood it but it was amazing. He had been trying to memorize the patterns for years but still had yet to do so.

-Vic walked amongst the people until she saw the line up again. Might as well crash the auction for fun. She snuck quietly to snatch a burlap sack that was discarded by a merchant. She cut open holes for her arms and her head. She slipped it on and covered her skin in dark dirt. She then made sure the rest of her armor couldn’t be seen then covered her legs in the dirt.

She saw an opportune chance and ran out at the auction, screaming, “DA WHITIES ARE DA DEVIL! DA WHITIES ARE DA DEVIL!” She then ran back into an alley, knowing good and well the slave driver and the guard would follow her. She quickly brushed the dirt off and ditched the sack before running around the home she was near and went back to the slaves.

She used her dagger to carefully pick at the locks for their chains, setting them free. One of them gave her a thankful look. Vic just nodded and took the chains with her. She had trouble carrying them due to her lack of mass but managed to get them to a smithy and asked, “Hey, how much would I get if I sold you these iron shackles for you to melt down and do as you please?”

The smith smiled and examined them and said, “Ah, you would get a great amount. A little rust but it is still usable. Would you sell it?”

“Yes sir,” Her english accent was cockney and very strong, her handing the chain over and taking the payment for it. She slipped it into her coin purse then placed it back betwixt her breasts. She took her leave of the shop and went back into the alleys to find more to steal before she got more shiny things.-

-Virgil made sure the woman was comfortable and taken care of before he turned back to the man who had spoken”I am a noble from england and anything else you learn of me will come if I learn to trust you”. He began to walk through the men of the ship until one decided to take a swing at him out of drunken anger from the rumors the men had started. Virgil caught the mans fist easily and using just his thumb and pointer fingers he snapped the mans wrist before jumping up bringing his knee into the mans jaw and him falling stone cold to the ground before he turned to the others. He straitened his jacket before turned and walked towards the woman making sure she was still safe and he walked up into the captains area.

He never made a noise as he opened the door and slipped inside and the man had his head down as he studied the machines that he knew very well as he has seen these drawings from past assassins but not all of them”I see you have found an assassins log book that contains the weapons and other things of our trade”.-

Dante shot his head up looking to the man. He narrowed his eyes and slammed the book shut and the seal of Altier was on the back. “I know nothing of assassin’s This was my father’s book he was a blacksmith and I a black smith like him.” He stopped for a moment and looked to him. “Wait you snuck up on me like my father used to…” his mind was racing the realization finally setting into the young mans eyes. “Wait If you know about assassin’s….” he didn’t finish that statement incase his men where listening. He didn’t know much about them accept that they didn’t kill for sport and always for a cause.

-Vic remained in the alley and stayed hidden from the settlers and the English. She looked out and saw two settlers arguing over a coin purse. She smirked and ran out fast, slicing it open and letting the coins fall out into her armor. She missed a lot but continued to run anyway. She got into another alley and hid herself. She didn’t think anyone followed her but she climbed up on top of a house and curled up there. Her stomach was growling but she wasn’t going to get food, even if it hurt. She curled up on the roof and closed her eyes.-

-Virgil smirked pulled his hood back before pulling the neck of his shirt to the side showing the symbol of the assassin to the man. He smiled as he spoke silently making sure no one would hear him but this man”if your father was anything like me then he was yes an assassin and you were born to be one as well and I could help you master such and your crew as well if they have the discipline to do so”.

Virgil walked over pulled a couple of apples off the captains table and walks out to find the woman who is surrounded by the men who probably haven’t seen a woman in months and they were pawing at her even though she was hurt they didn’t seem to care. Virgil stepped right between all of them as if they were not there and he held her in his arms and carried her back into the captains quarters” I feel she is safest here since your dogs wont put there tongue away”. Virgil gave her the apple before he walked back out onto the ship and he wanted to see if these men had the balls to test him or if they would fall into line. He walked over to his chest and opened it and while on the deck he changed in sight of the men and he was now wearing his white robes of the assassin”hopefully some of you know what these robes mean and your captain knows them well so you pack of dog fall in on the line or ill see if my blades are still sharp.”

Virgil turn to the captain”you can direct them now, if you want me to train them then they will never act this way again, they will be treated as children as will you but only by me till you earn your blade, so let us begin this journey as the new assassins of the sea”.-

Dante listened to him and blinked at it when Virgil came back in he rolled his sleeve up and showed a birth mark. It matched the symbol on the back of his fathers journal. “My father said that journal has been in our family for longer than the sea has had water.” He then rolled his sleeve down and grabbed the journal and slipped it into his shirt walking out as he spoke and smirked. He was still captain of this ship but he knew something greater in this world awaited and he got to the helm and spun the wheel hard pulling them out of the wake of the storm and they were heading towards the sun now. “We will need a safe place to train I know just the place.” He said and the crew looked at the navigation and started to cheer not realizing that their privet home was going to become something far worse than it was. He took the ship into a set of coral and navigated it slowly. “Just a few more hours. We have a doctor there who can tend to our guest.” Turning to his men he spoke clearly with a deep voice that was quite but carried itself. “Anyone touches her. You will have to answer to our guest here and I will let him do what he feels is nessicary.” The men stopped cheering and looked to Virgil They then quickly hurried about their duties on the ship. He then turned back to the wheel and continued to guide the ship expertly through a path that would of sunk other ships.

-Vic was eventually awoken by the pain in her stomach. She uncurled herself and looked down over the settlers beneath her. She scanned and saw a food merchant down a ways. She found her way to the ground and walked to the merchant while he was dealing with one of the other settlers. She grabbed a two apples, a thing of corn, and two loafs of bread. She stuffed the apples into her breast cups and the bread into her abdomen. She then put the corn down in the middle.

She walked away, seemingly unnoticed. This was great! These settlers were idiots, nice prey for her. She made her way onto a roof again, with difficulty as she had the stuff in her clothes. She found her way up eventually and holed up on the roof. She took out the food items and started eating an apple first. She had enough common sense to know they would spoil first. She nearly devoured it but couldn’t really consume the other things. The apple did her in so she threw the other one down into the alley, a poor person nabbing it. She kept the corn and bread with her and tucked them into her clothes as she laid back down.-

-Virgil smirked and allowed his hidden blades to appear so they knew what he was thinking and the look in there eyes were amusing. Virgil walked up and stood beside the man and crossed his arms while he watched the area figuring out the area and he smiled when he saw the man sail as accurately “you were born to be at sea it seems, I need to send your men out to collect whats left of my belongings on that ship before anyone finds them because if you want proper training the gear there can not fall into my enemies hands that are probably mentioned in your father book”. He watched the boat pull into doc before he went to fetch the woman and carried her to the doctor and he spoke to the man”she never saw my face so, if you can fix her up and set her to sail to the main land when the men go out next I will pay you happily doctor”.

Virgil left the doctors area and went to find where the captain had wandered off to” so where is this training area you spoke of”.-

Dante had wondered into a room that the men seemed to keep a 10 foot distance from and in sat a trunk with a lock that was odd and seemed to have no key at least none that any man could think of. He stared at it for a while and turned to the man and spoke. “It’s this way.” He said leaving the assassin’s trunk in the room it had no door but people died who touched it. The men knew this He walked him through the caverns and soon they came out and there where cliff faces ledges beams out cropping’s an assassin’s playground the perfect training ground. If you couldn’t make it you died it was that simple. He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. “You will have to teach me to open that trunk one day. My father never went anywhere without it.” He said simply then pushed off the wall and took off in a run and hit the wall about halfway up and launched up grabbing an out cropping and pulling himself up in a fluid motion that didn’t stop his momentum he was slow but he was fluid and was moving through this coarse with ease then dropped down in front of him from the ledge above where they came out.
