(OOC use parenthesis)
(This is where most of everything has started. We’re in the yellow zone of Los Angeles. The infection has not made it across the bridge yet, to the national park. Which is currently a green zone. South Los Angeles is red zone. The middle a yellow zone. And northern los angeles a green zone.
In the beginning, this will take place in a military base. Infected characters here, are being held after having been found or experimented on. Civilians here are found and used as lab rats, and experimented on. Military are personnel here. Who guard the area and watch over it. Marines generally have little idea of what is happening and of most of the atrocities that take place. Blackwatch, guards scientists and observes experiments directly.
Here we will set the beginning scene of where most infected prototypes will be held. Once you leave, you can go from here to San Francisco. It will be in another thread if you wish to go there. You will narrate your own environment until you come into contact with another character.)

In a military base off away from the city, in the yellow zone of Los Angeles, a military base has been established. Inside this base are around 60 or marines, 12 blackwatch and 20 scientists. Deep within the labs various types of infected are being held.
In one large reinforced room. A man by the name Eric Bradshaw is watching an experiment on a group of hunters. Inside with two brawlers, a group of infected humans are released. On the other side a group of normal humans is released. Spectators watch from the 1 way window. The hunters stand turning to the humans and wander over to them. One runs to the side and a brawler looks to it. Then it runs over and pounces him. The brawler’s teeth enter the man and blood splatters. The other hunter runs and raises its claw and blood splatter a few moments later 12 feet into the window.
Bradshaw looks to the window. Then down at the hunters. A scientist leaves and vomits in the trashcan. Other scientists look at him strangely. “Where did they find him?” A scientist mutters. “Ugh. Someone go tell him to get a hold of himself.” A scientist goes to help the vomiting man.
Bradshaw watches the man vomit for a moment then returns his attention to the brawler. By now they are done with the civilians. And turn there attention to the other walkers. One ignores them completely. The other picks him up a tumored. “They seem to have a feigned interest in the walker infected.” One scientist says “It would seem so…” another rplies
Outside there a feint shaking of the ground. As something is approaching. Something large. Slowly. But surely. Getting closer. Not very noticeable right now. People still proceed as usual…

“Another day on the yellow zone” Suzi was on top of roof thinking out loud again, she wasn’t getting much assignments those days, they were waiting backup from the super soldiers for venturing into the red zone
While waiting she watch the “harvest” of the infected they still tell them they’re trying to cure this thing, but i know better, there needs to be something more between all of that… they may be trying to control the beasts, or maybe genetic modifications…well, we have super soldiers after all but that is not a fate i would wish to anybody i know she was thinking while looking at the sky when a voice came from behind her “earth for Suzi, are you still there?”
She turned out to face Lt Andrews Blackwater her older brother “What now Andy? have you come again to tell me how proud you’re for my choice to follow the family’s business” she said with a smile but the response of her brother came with a sad look “me and father always thought of you as a normal girl living a normal and carefree life style but since you was little it was clear you wouldn’t accept it” she replies her brothers sad eyes with mocking ones “well i guess it is hard to keep your daughter out of mercenary business while throwing it at her face every time…” she said with a smile and her brother laughed “yeah…we couldn’t hide anything from you…” now it was her time to laugh “of course not! i was the one who had to patch both of you up at the end of the day!” they both laugh in memory of old times
“but i believe chit-chat is not the reason you came all the way up here for…” she said and her brother sadly answered “in fact not, the backup is coming and you’ll soon be leaving for the red zone”

Jericho could see only darkness. Perhaps a dumpster wasn’t the best place to hide from military choppers, but nevertheless, he really didn’t feel like fighting a chopper and throwing the yellow zone into a panic and having his face plastered all over the nightly news.
The sound of helis faded away as he peeked out to find the alley he’s hiding in mostly empty. ‘Run, run as fast as you can. Can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man.’ He thought to himself with a little skip to his step. ‘Best part of being infected is making virus carriers. They won’t show signs of the virus themselves but everywhere they go they spread it, and so many of the military just leave themselves open for me to infect them.’
He walked out into the street and took a look at all the lights that used to signify to the world that the City of Angels was the place to be and that it wasn’t a hellhole infected by disease and crime. Of course its always been a hellhole but he just makes it worse without a single “Evolved” on his side either. It’s about time to turn the world upside down now. He sticks his index finger in the back of some random passerby who immediately starts to convulse and vomit before they explode outward like a human sized grenade, throwing people across the street and into stores.

Bradshaw hears a voice appear on his mic, to all blackwatch members. “This red crown to squad one. Large number of hostiles closing in on your vicinity.”
A marine manages to get a signal through to his men. “They’re coming! They’re all coming! They got this thing with and it’s fucking HUGE!” The panicked marine states to his fellow men.
People begin to get ready. As an alarm soundsThe scientists being evacuated. The marines running gathering their arms. 2 blackwatch personel are assigned to escort. And they pick 5 marines to go with them.“Lucky fucks” 1 marine commments. Bradshaw walks calmy along. And walks outside. Marine commanders shouting. Commanding everyone to man the walls. People look up and there is a shadow as a swarm of flyiers begins to descend on the base. Gunfire can be heard for miles as everyone fires into the air as they swoop down on everyone. Some of them flying into grounded choppers, destroying them.
Bradshaw aims in the air and shoots out 4 flyers diving at him. He sees them dogpile a marine, mauling him as he then fires on them all. Flyers fall left and md right. However, their numbers are unceasing. In the distance a roar is heard. As a Goliath is seen. He roars and the ground starts shaking. Men dismount turrets on the wall and run as it bursts through the wall. Causing rubble to fly. Bradshaw rolls as a giant slab of concrete flies past.
Bradshaw looks up at the giant monster aiming his gun. His eyes narrowing. He backs away from the monsters as it’s head goes about. It looking at the building. Still outside as infected pour in. And it walks towards the building.

“Well Andy, they better be here quickly” she points her pistol at the coming flyers “we better keep this position secured so the backup can land here” they decided to make the base’s roof top their standing ground shooting down any flyer who get close enough, Suzi shot down two flyers with her pistol and cut down one who got close enough and them she watched its approach
“no way! a Goliath here?!” she watched it throw the soldier’s defensive line in chaos most of them were retreating back to the base, them the beast looked at her, she noticed it and yelled at her brother “back inside the base! now!” they picked up their pace and descended into the base, the impact of the Goliath trying to damage the base came right after
Suzi was mad, she didn’t come all the way to LA yellow zone just to be trapped by a giant beast inside a base until its eminent collapse, to make matters worse the blackwatch commander was full of crap, his plan consisted in waiting inside the base until backup came out she quickly raised up against him “we need to get the hammers moving so we can bring that thing down” the ground trembles as the beast hit the base again “this base will not stand up for long and even if it did the air space is crowded with flyers any helicopter would have enough trouble standing on his own, we can’t wait for air support” her brother looked away as the commander officer looked at Suzi, she could feel his angry gaze from inside the tactical mask, some blackwatch soldiers were questioning their orders at that point, like Suzi dying by a crumbling base was not in their plans for the evening
“you would do better to respect your superiors, Corporal” the officer smirks “you would already be dead if you’re not such a fine woman…” Suzi face was expressionless as she picked her pistol and shot the officer down “i not planning to die just because my superior is a stupid fuck” most of blackwatch soldier’s on the room liked the initiative the rest had to agreed that Suzi’s plan was better, her brother though was facepalming and whispering “here we go again…”
Suzi leaved the room with her new squad of blackwatch soldier’s to organize the marines “the plan is simple a diversion for the Goliath on the rooftop while our Hammers strike him dowm, we have specialist to drive the hammers but we need people to drive the other armored vehicles as well as “volunteers” to fight on the roof with me and the lads, who is up to the test?”

The marines watch ,the whole ordeal. “Well…I didn’t like that guy, anyway.” One marine says lowly “I’m with her.” Another comments. Some marines don’t say anything. They are rather speechless that she just shot the commander like that. However, nobody was willing to take a bullet for that man, especially after he made such a comment.
Bradshaw outside with marines fires at infected while retreating. The goliath smashes it’s arm and charges forward it’s feet shaking the ground with surprising speed. “OH SHIT!!” A marine yells as he fires. Others run. Howver, some are too late . One marine trips and turns his eyes widening as he is soon turned into a smear. Another marine weighed down by gear is about to be crushed when Bradshaw tackles him and picks him up for a momentas the Goliath barely misses and rams into the base. It being reinforced more than other buildings. It shakes, But cant take that many more hits.
Bradshaw yells out. Directing the remaining marines outsidthee. There is one Abrams tank outside. “Everyone, to the tank. NOW. Form a line.” Bradshaw shoots off fires with his LSAT. A hunter jumps over the wall. It jumps to one man and Bradshaw fires a thermobaric grenade at it. Causing a large blast wave as it is deflected. It starts back to it’s feet. “Focus fire on the hunter!” The squad lights the hunter up. Shooting towards the head with their larger caliber guns. As Bradshaw shoots flyers out the sky with grenade, it exploding in mid air as soon as it nears its target
Bradshaw had to rely on the marines. They weren’t all incompetent. More, most of them were unprepared. Blackwatch was made specifically to be able to combat the viral threat. Unlike the marines. Theh hunter runs forward and swipes a marine who dodges its slash. The hunter roars and stands upright, then falls to the ground. Everyone rushes into the tank. As Bradshaw fires a thermobaric grenade to blow away the closest crowd of infected. Everyone jumps into the tank. Bradshaw climbs on and fires on the infected. He reloads as a marine fires and them begins firing again, no end coming to the infected droves.
Bradshaw is last to get in as they climb on the tank. And he gets inside. Shutting the hatch above him. As infected claw from outside. “Can everyone in here pilot a tank?” There is a nodding about inside of the tank. Some “yeah”s and “yes sir.” A general consensus of yes. “Good” Bradshaw says. “I’ll man the turret. Someone mount the browning. I’ll get the turret. Whoever can drive. Drive. Be prepared. We’ll need to do a lot of dodging.” The Abrahms tank was fast. It could go very fast. Up to 60 mph. Just not safe to always go to fast. Treads might rip off.
Tank was being loaded with APFSDS rounds. No explosives, more just raw kinetic energy. A giant, heavy fin stabilized, needle armor piercing projectile propelled at 4-5 times the speed of sound. No explosive radius. However, it can be much more damaging on single target. Bradshaw ordered everyone on the inside. They had to buy them some time on the inside.
The tank rolls over the infected and Bradshaw aims. He had to attack the weakpoints first. The Goliath hits the building, it’s smaller spine like arm going through it. Then it raises it’s club arm up to put all it’s weight into a huge strike to the building. Bradshaw fires into it’s right leg and blows it off with a clean direct hit, causing the Goliath to fall. It’s crash feeling like a small earthquake. “FUCK YEAH!” “It’s not done yet.” The Goliath starts hopping. The ground trembling. As hunters jump over the wall. Bradshaw fires at one hunter as they come in a few packs. Bradhsw fires on one and a marine remotely aims a Browning .50 cak to fire on hunters, the tank driving along in the parking lot.The needle goes through the hunter, killing it in a single shot. The browning browning working well to destroy them.
Backup was on it’s way, but being delayed. This attack seems very coordinated to Bradshaw. The flyers block the sky off. Close off air support. The Goliath demolishes the building. while the rest of the infected fight on the ground.

Suzi got to the rooftop with a bunch of other blackwatch, her rifle’s laser sight flying in the skies moving from one flyer to the other, they were shooting down flyers so the marines could come in with the rocket launchers so far the diversion was working, the Goliath was trying to focus on the top of the building but the constant firing of the rocket launchers was slowing him down making most of his moves predictable to the men in the rooftop, it was time for the next step of the plan
“Let the Hammer fall!” she screamed at the radio and the doors of the garage opened showing two M1 Abrams with Thermobaric Cannons side by side, it was like time itself stopped when the cannons fired, the impact was strong enough to make some marines fall on their knees, it was hard for even the blackwatch to stay on their foot, the shots made a lot of smoke but everyone could hear the noise of the creature falling down on the base’s outer wall bringing it down with her
Some seconds later when the smoke fade out everyone (at the roof at least) could see the Goliath down with two giant holes on its belly, the marines and the blackwatch at the roof let out a cry of victory which was quickly restrained by Suzi’s orders “the battle isn’t over yet, there’re still hunters and infected all around the base” she sigh as her M4A1 laser sight danced again to bring down another flyer “let’s make sure to fight well so everybody could be at home by the time of dinner, savvy?”

Inside the base, a scientist is standing over a computer. He frees the infected remotely. He then walks down the hallway to a maximum security room and puts his arm over the scanner. He walks inside to a room with a patient strapped in. Constantly having blood tox pumped about. The patient is almost dead. Weakened. However, the scientist free’s him and stops the blood tox from being pumped in. A blackwatch member on the inside walks in.
The scientist is nowhere to be seen when he walks in. However he sees the patient being released from the table in the large room. He goes to the computer and sees the reflection of a man behind him coming up on him and aiming a gun in the back of his head.
He snapped around as the man shot, him missing and shooting the screen. The blackwatched soldier twists the gun from his wrist and disarms him. However. The scientists arms shoot out with poisoned spikes. And then retract back to his wrist. The blackwatch soldier falls paralyzed. The scientist takes the gun from out the paralyzed soldiers hand and shoots him in the face.
Blackwatch and the military in gwneral has grown more advanced in security. Much more than before. Making it difficult for them to get in. Dense and especially strong infected produce more heat. And thermal sensors are implanted throughout the base. Thermal vision being common in blackwatch masks. Not only this, but pressure sensors are put all throughout the bases. This is to measure the weight. Heavy, strong infected who weigh more than 500 pounds will be easily caught. Security Cameras are put throughout the base. If infected attempt to stealth consume within their view. The base will be alerted.
However this scientists weighes little and produces the same amount of heat as a healthy human being. He also killed the scientist from the outside. The patient walks out he door naked and shapeshifts to assume his the form of a military soldier. There were only pressure sensors outside at the checkpoint…
Outside. The flyers begin to swarm flying down in large numbers. The sky basically raining gore as all soldiers shot at them. The infected’s force grew as hunters jumped over the walls. APCs and more Abrams tanks rolled out to combat them. Turrets are maned on the walls to thin the flyers numbers. Bradshaw in his tank shoots a hunter and kills it in one shot. The tanks rounds having little in the way of AOE. It’s a good thing bradshaw was a good shot.

-Dustin was locked inside the base and had been since the infection had begun in the city, he had been found in the red zone right in the center by a group of scientists thinking he was going to be a normal infected. But he became adapted to it instead of exploding out. He though he didn’t have the massive attacks of the other creatures that he watched through the small window in his”coffin” walk by everyday. He did get ideas as to how to use his new sickness and with it began to morph his fingers into sharp blades so that he could begin to scratch at the top of the coffin and since they never opened his coffin they never found it.
Once the giant began to attack and everyone began to run around everyone forgot about Dustin so he morphed both hands and dug right through the top of his box and he was free and that’s when he saw a cage with another infected but this was one of the basic ones which gave him and idea. He walked over and opened its cell before he began to run hiding his face as the sensors went off they did it because of the infected not him so once he reached the door to the outside the soldiers were to busy with the giant infected to notice Dustin so he threw the infected so that it skidded across the ground and he watched the weight sensor go off so he decided he wasn’t going to step on that.
He ran leaped landing on the infected and then leaped out over the fence and outside and he didn’t stop running till he was on the edge of the yellow zone and could easily enter the green zone. He saw a couple of simple infected wandering and they were about to enter the green zone. He dropped down and using his bladed fingers sliced through there spines before taking off there heads and then dropping them into a dumpster. It wasn’t that he was trying to help the humans it was that he didn’t want guards alerted to his current location.-<e>

“Fuck it!” Suzi Blackwaters scream from out of her lungs she thought the situation would be under control since the Goliath was down but that was not happening, the attacks were getting stronger, the platoon on the roof was on the verge of being overrun she noticed this and scream once again “Everybody back to the base ASAP!” while shooting down some flyers to cover up the marines retreat she could see the massacre as half of her squad was obliterated due to the flyer’s massive charge, she also could see some hunters appearing at the edges of the roof as she locked the reinforced door behind her, those doors were projected to keep infected away so it had to resist right?
She couldn’t even make down the stairs felling secured though, from her high point she could clearly see, the base was being overrun with the infected with her radio she called in the base’s channel so everybody assign to it could hear there was no time “to all disengaged personal! the base is being overrun with fukwits, repeat the base is being overrun by infected! every disengaged personal your orders are get your asses back here and resolve this situation pronto!” she sheathed her rifle across her back and picked up her katana she looked at her squad all Suzi could see was dead on their faces, with fire on her eyes she said “if these things think they can give us hell is only because they don’t know me yet” they looked at her with surprised eyes “you don’t even need to believe in yourselves just believe in me and we’ll get out of here alive” she charged into a nearby infected cutting his head with a slash surprised with her squad coming right behind her

“Well this is new…” Jericho said watching the military base from the distance. “Flying infected, dead goliaths, hunters all over the damn place. If I helped would they give me a medal…. nah, let’s make em more desperate.” He said, looking over to a water tower, causing it to turn red, and explode with several hunters coming from it and leaping towards the base.
“Wonder how much bullshit I can get away with before someone notices me up here… Probably might wanna get the armor ready incase they call some laser drone strike on me, ain’t that right, Runt?” He said looking over to a smaller Brawler next to him about the size of Great Dane. “You want in there too don’tcha? Well go on, and don’t get killed!” He said slapping it off the edge of the building, causing it to land on its feet, cracking the sidewalk and sprinting off to the building with the other hunters, brawlers, and juggernauts.
“I don’t even think hopeless can accurately describe this situation right now.” He stood up, and raised his hand like a maestro, and several hydras popped out of the ground. “Let’s Play Jericho’s Sonata version 5 in E minor.” He pulled out a small stick in one hand, and a music book in the other, and began to play, the Hydras moving like reaper’s scythes, tearing into whatever non infected being they could.
“And disguise… can’t forget the disguise.” He said morphing into an unassuming hobo who looks pretty insane waving a stick around on the roof nearby.

-Dustin was sitting on a buildings edge as he flexed his hand watching people in the green zone run around like nothing was wrong. He hadent the ability to summon creatures like his fellow brethren, he knew much about them after spending his time in the coffin listening to the doctors and scientists speak about the genetic stray and how it can be altered by few of us evolved infected. He smirked though he could control how his body morphed as he spread his hand wide and flat out in front of himself and his middle finger turned into an arrow head before it fired out right into the back of a normal human male and the infection spread quickly through him becoming a normal infected running around the green zone wouldn’t last long but the show would be nice.-

Bradshaw had a few options as people began to retreat. He shot one HYdra and pierced it with a round. They loaded again and shoot another. He backed into the side of the building. “Everyone out. We’re getting back in. The tank is stationary as it mows down infected. Shooting hunters. Bradshaw got out and so did the rest of the men. He took out his XM and launches all 3 grenades from it. A juggernaut approaches. Lumbering.It takes a shot from the round. And gets knocked back as the round impales it. Then it keeps coming. Everyone abandons the tank and climbs the ladder as the tank is smashed and mauled by hunters and the juggernauts. A hunter grabs a marine climbing the ladder. And bites his head off. Bradshaw retreats to the roof. They get back inside. Bradshaw heads down the hallway and they step over bodies. “I’ll take point.”
Bradshaw steps over bodies as the marines followed. “They fuckin’ got Johnson man…” A marine comments. “Come on. We have to kill these fuckers.” A marine comments. “Now you have the right attitude. Bradshaw says weaving through the halls. “This way.” He gets lunged by an infected and shoots him. More come and he fires as do the others. They lower their guns. “Let’s move.” Bradshaw says as he runs forward. They keep going. It is quiet for about a minute before Bradshaw hears footsteps. He gestures everyone to stop and listen. Everyone reloads. One person is out of ammo and pulls out a shotgun. Bradshaw looks to the corner and sees figures approaching.
*Klch klch klch* Bradshaw is face to face with Suzi are her squad his narrowed aiming him XM right in Suzi’s face, between the eyes. The marines behind Bradshaw guns readied.
-Green Zone-
The greenzone is not a safe place for infected. New security measures are everywhere. Drones look to the rooftop and there is an increased presence of marines and blackwatch. They noted from previous incidents that runners, prototypes and powerful infected traveled openly often on rooftops. Pressures were on every time only in bases. Super soldiers were everywhere on the streets, seemingly around every corner with high tech detection gear. It’s very difficult for an infected who weighs more than a normal human to be here.
People see the infected and it lunges a person. Biting into a woman. The woman screams as blood leaks from her. People scatter and there are gunshots as the infected is shot on sight. People scream and panic. Running away as the infected tears into the womans throat. Her body going still.
Marines and Blackwatch look at the roof as one person points to where it came from. Drones begin scanning the area. They look for high heat sources and Dustin is glowing brightly as their Cameras lock on him. Him being the only person on that rooftop, combined with his high heat, make him easy to single out. An alarm sounds as the drones follow Dustin. Super soldiers jump to the alarm as they hear it. “Tango sited! Take him out!” On rooftops near by soldiers take positions and aim launchers at Dustin. A Super soldier gets into an offensive stance. And begins to lunge Dustin ready to grab him. Helicopters are already on the way.

-Dustin smiles as he watches the chaos right up until he is spotted by the big behemoth of a man which makes him smirk bigger. He does a back flip staying just inches from the mans reach as he slams his feet into the roof going through each floor quickly until there was a hole through the entire building. He reached the fifth floor on the opposite side of the building from the soliders that spotted him. He began to run among the office works slashing them with his fingers infected there blood stream with the virus surprisingly there was a evolved like himself that jumped out the window in the direction of the greenzone probably not knowing any different. Dustin ran through a window on the other side of the building so that he landed back in the yellow zone. He ran around the infected that were on the street slicing any that may think he was dinner. He found a subway entrance and he took it going underground and running until he was close to the red zone figuring they would track that other evolved now instead of him since now that he was underground his heat signature would either be very faint which could be mistaken for an active third rail or none existent at all he would be free. He watched as a pack of hunters stalked the red zone looking for prey.-
