The sun brings darkness instead of light that only those with special eyes can see through. The Lunar light of the moon brings arcane magic that reveals your sins to the Shadows and what lurks within them. The year is 2014 but with no science to progress us most of the world still looks much like the Middle Ages. There are cars though and guns but they run on magic so there design is not similar to those found on Earth. If you look into a mirror you can see Earth and when its night you can step through the mirror and hunt if human is what you feed upon. Humans have no place in this world unless they can use Arcane magic just as well as the True ones, The name of the beings of this plane. If you see an angel do not think of them as the being of heaven as they are the highest fighters under the council.

A soft clack would tap against a stone road, claw or heel it was indistinguishable from another. Movement of silver hair masked the sound of the movement against webbed wings. Azure eyes of lunar luminance hid under their dull yellow mask which held white around it and a black center. A false appearance of the horns that adorned her helm wrap out of her forehead to curl outward where their true curve matched their sleek blackened form. Her light skin tone did hide the blackened scales of her being, the only truth of it shown barely by the false clothing. These ‘clothes’ were skin tight and rather revealing, cupping under the false breasts and curving up to hide where a human’s nipples would be as well as an appearance of black ‘leather’ panties around her hips and crotch. She also appears to wear knee high stiletto heels, this is the masking for her claws. She  also had a flesh colored tail swaying behind her five foot eight form. To those who would be able to see her true form, her blackened shoulders reached at least eight feet tall but were no taller than eight and a half feet. Her body was four feet long, three feet wide at the widest, with a four foot neck that is one and a half feet thick, her head was about two feet and a half long and two feet high and wide. Four horns curve from her brow to the top of her head with the longest point reaching a foot along her neck, her cheeks having three curving slightly away and each being three fourths of a foot long. She bore two horns on her nose, curving back along her form at a foot and a half foot respectively. Her scales where black on their base, the light would make them shine blue where the shadows would make them shimmer purple. Her wings were tucked onto her side and her body swayed as it walked, as did her supposed humanistic appearance. The tip of her tail in her true form was furry, with strands reaching an extra foot where her tail was already eight feet long.

Her false form stopped as she passed into an open home, noting that it was unattended for the moment. She stepped in as the wooden floor creaked beneath her form, her true weight being at least a ton. She stepped up to a mirror in the house and witnessed a blonde teenager step up to the other side of the mirror with red lipstick on. The bright red annoyed her. She allowed the mimicking of this teenager for now, mimicking the brushing of hair and even the reapplying of the lipstick. Her hair would lose color as it faded silver as the girl leaned in close and began making duck faces. Akaxam’s hand reached up to the mirror and as it passed through, her fingers were claws and they grasped the human by the throat and as she pulled the screaming broad in, she allowed her form revealed to this one. She smirked as she communed with the shadows of the house and slammed the doors closed. The human cowered in terror as she screamed and backed into a corner. Her voice hissed out of the darkness, “Beg… DO IT!” The human couldn’t get a word out as she let her tears run and her make up smear. Akaxam took a deep sniff and smelled that her heart was racing near an attack, her blood type was A+ and that she had HIV. Disgusting. She reformed before her and grabbed her by the throat and tossed her back through the mirror just for the owner of the house to burst in.
“Were you hunting my prey?” The true one before her growled out at her.
Akaxam shook her illusion head as well as her true self as she said, “You staked claims on the mother, I was after the child but her blood is tainted, beware your feast on the elder.” She began to leave the home and walked back out onto the streets, ignoring the angered yelling behind her as she bit her false lip in wanting of that one’s blood. She could get it another time, she had to keep telling herself this. She kept to herself as she wandered to sniff out something new.

-Malstaine was walking down the streets of York New in his htrae form and shifted into his earth form which brought an amused look by a shadow warden who new Malstaine well. He nodded to the warden before vanishing into the human plain not being noticed by any humans at first until he let out a vibration from his own body and all the woman around him blushed red as there body betrayed them and they felt a strong need to touch themselves and the men would begin to fight each other from the need to show there dominance to mate with the women. He laughed and kept walking finding a bar and he walked into a bar and grabbed the bottle off beer of the bar and went to the back table and put his back to the wall and took a sip from his drink before looking at the bottle and sighing. He raised the bottle then two fingers and a waitress brought over two more and sat them down before giving him a happy smile. He smiled to the woman happy to see she was more innocent then sinful so being this close had no effect. He began to let his vibrations out but only on a small wave to make it so only the most sinful will react. He saw a man puff out his chest which brought a smile to Malstaine’s face.

He saw that the man was proud of what he had done so he put down both bottles of beer before he pointed at the man who puffed out his chest and the waitress poked him and brought him over to Malstaine. He put a hundred dollar bill between the girls cleavage which made her blush but walk away happy all the same. He watched her fish it out and tell her boss she was done for the night. The boss turned to Malstaine and his eyes turned bright red before he told everyone that the next round was on the house which made everyone happy. This gave Malstaine time to lean forward to speak with the sinful male”I would like to make you an offer to double all of your current profits ten fold all I need from you is a signature and a drop of blood next to it my good man”. He laughed thinking nothing of it and not even taking the time to read the contract which was more common then most people knew. He watched the man prick his finger with a diabetes sugar checker before planting the finger on the paper and when he did the paper glowed gold and the man vanished from his seat and was now sitting in the ring of greed in hell. He walked over to the bartender and handed him the contract before raising his palm flat and the bartender did the same and unseen to the humans a ray of moon light shown between them which was there clan way of saying thank you. He wasn’t done hunting that man was greed not treachery. He was handed back a roll of twenties at the worth of fifty thousand dollars the estimated price of a human soul.

He left the bar seeing the sunrise made his skin feel like it was burning but he knew better it was simply a sunburn but his body was so much more sensitive. He was ready now to hunt so he placed his palms together and forced his vibrations into one hand then bounced it back and forth over and over between his palms before letting it out like a radio wave. It hit one hundred sources in the city for his prey though he saw sins that did not interest him but he held up a diamond and threw it on the ground and he saw a circle of demons stand with him and fly off in different directions. He saw only one final signal and began to walk slowly with his head down. He hated them so much these souls that betrayed with such ease because it was this ease that damned him. He felt disdain for what he was but not for his fellow demons they were pure beings that followed nature and never betrayed another unless they were made to do so. He found the office building where his prey hide. He used the plain walker ability to walk into the other realm passing through the unlocked door which was locked on earth. He then passed back through to earth and began to climb the stairs finding the mans office. He opened the door finding the man porking his secretary, the woman screamed and ran out of the room while the man laughed”how much to keep you quiet boy”. Malstaine walked forward laying out the form for the man to sign”just your name and a drop of blood next to it”. The man signed but wouldn’t give a drop of blood so Malstaine reached out and slammed the mans face right into the contract”It wasn’t a request, it was a command, you gave your consent once you asked me that question, and after me seeing you doing it with a sixteen year old”. He watched the contract began to smoke and a dot formed on the mans forehead before becoming the number 50. Malstaine smiled as the number began to glow brighter and brighter before the man grabbing his head and began to role back and forth as his skull felt like it was on fire. His head cracked and his brains rolled out. He went to hell and sat next to the emperor while he called on pride to take the man to arena of hate so violence can give this one the true and never ending death.-

The day was dark and the light reviled the shadows. The denizens of this city milled about unaware of the danger that lurked here what had been assigned to this place. Moving silently the interacted with each other as if spiders that had formed a colony. They seemed weary of each other and almost ready to attack it was like a powder keg waiting to explode. For this reason The Jester had been sent to enforce the laws. It stood atop the tallest building and looked down upon the city watching their interactions with each other. The figure was dressed in black and white checkerboard pattern body suit that hugged its form but gave nothing away to what it was another mystery that only one person knew. A smile crawled across the white mask with black paint to give way to a face. How the Jester truly saw was a mystery in it of itself It took and Launched off the building plummeting towards the ground. The Jester allowed itself to be seen doing this almost as a I’m here watching statement. As it continued toward the ground people watching on in hope and fear. Some feared its appearance others hoped it would die in this stunt, and some still knew this was an omen of things to come. Once the jester dropped far enough and entered a shadow people saw it disappear into the darkness. Sliding into the shadows it entered a planar dimension where time moved faster than outside and pulled it’s keys out and started to flip through the keys it had and hummed. “Now which one.” The Jester watched the doors slid by in front of its face. Lifting it’s hand a door stopped and a key was slipped into the lock the door shimmered and became a mirror and The Jester stepped through it stepping out onto the streets. Slipping its hands into pockets that didn’t seem to exist it hummed stepping along the streets leaving people curious as to where the humming and Jingling was coming from. Some got paranoid more so than normal others chose to ignore it but The Jester didn’t care while it walked the streets watching and waiting either for orders or for a need to act by the laws being broken.

Akaxam continued to walk down the stony road, careful of tapping her claws with the beat of the humanistic illusion. She felt her tail waving back and forth and a slight tap against it, the real one. She hadn’t realized she’d knocked someone over as she continued her trail. The being, luckily, couldn’t see what had hit it, getting up and resuming on their way. She carefully raised her tail so such wouldn’t happen again, making sure the illusion’s tail remained down and always slightly curled around her in its constant sway. Her eyes focused in on a shimmer caught in the corner of her eye, there was another mirror, just tossed out of a house.

She halted and turne the illusion to face the mirror, her lithe neck turning as the lunar eyes gazed upon the discarded mirror in the alley. She lifted her legs to allow others to pass as if nothing was there, the smell of their blood as they neared allowing her to do so. The yellow eyes of the illusion narrowed as her true azure eyes did the same, the body turning to go towards the mirror, the illusion weaving through the people as she truely stepped around them carefully. She then made it to the quiet alley, wings tucked in close as she put her body down and wrapped her tail in under herself so it did not stick out into the street. She looked in upon the mirror and saw a rather innocent houseing. She saw a small child demanding to be up as her brunette mother picked up the child. The father had just come home from what she assumed was work. He was wearing a suit of some sorts and an odd hat, it reminded her of some sort of lawyer or something. She stuck her nose through the mirror and took a deep whiff before pulling it back in. He didn’t smell like work, he smelled like alcohol, heroine, and sex. Beyond that, there was really nothing wrong with his blood and she’d never tasted either of the two before, peeking her curiousity.

She begun to make herself appear through the mirror as if a gorgeous woman. The human illusion made sure to be very blonde, the horns gone from the image and gorgeous makeup. She made the eyes a startling blue and a nude form with large breasts to beckon to him. He looked up from hugging his family and he seemed to send them out to the car as he approached the mirror. She allowed the illusion to begin to play with the breasts, the human form pulling him in. He walked close to the mirror, checking out the gorgeous female and leaning in. She knew she’d have to move fast, jabbing her claw through the mirror and grabbing him around the throat as she pulled him in.

As his body got pulled the whole way through, a dark figure flew at her true neck and grabbed a hold of it. This resulted in her flinging the human into the street. She turned her head from side to side in an attempt to get this being from her throat, her true form being revealed to all as her scales shined purple in the darkness. Her luminescant eyes tried to lock onto what had hold of her, wings wrapping over the buildings around her to throw herself backwards into the street. Her neck hit the ground with the cloaked being hitting first. She then rolled to feel they had let go and she stood up. She opened her mouth and looked to see the human had died on impact and his precious blood was being wasted. She whipped her head around to the being that had stopped her and hissed out, “How dare you stop me from hunting!”
The figure stood up and brushed themselves off as a voice said, “That mirror came from my house, it used to be my hunting ground but I threw it out. They are still marked.”
She growled at them and spread her wings out with a roar that shook the ground, it had a low bellowing pitch with a higher pitch marked on top of it and though it did no damage, some had to cover their ears from the sheer volume she put behind it. She then hissed out to the figure, “They are no longer yours if you throw them away. You deemed them unfit to hunt and I deemed them just fine to hunt so they are mine now!”
The two began to circle one another, the others gathering around the edge of the circle preparing to watch the fight.

Akaxam’s eyes remained focused on the male as some of the black flames began to lick out from between blackened teeth. The figure seemed to want to pause as he said, “Aren’t you noble? You should know better.”
“Fuck nobility,” Akaxam spoke before shooting her black flames at him. He didn’t have the time to move and the black fire caught on to him as his clothes were nearly gone in an instant as he got onto the ground and rolled around trying to put it out. The flesh that was barely visable through the flames bubbled and the corpse burst from the cooking. Some splatted on her and the rest was everywhere else, some of the others caught aflame but she would put them out with her control of the mighty blaze. She then sat and looked at the bloody human corpse that was now slightly charcoaled but the good blood was all dry by now. She sighed and licked with a long black tongue some of the splatted corpse from her face. She knew he’d get back up eventually and be very pissed.

-Malstaine had returned to the world of Demons but because he had been standing on a spire watching the damnation of the soul be brought to the High emperor. He was now standing on a skyscraper so he walked to the edge and pulled back the black hood that covered his head and his blind eyes would read of excitement as he jumped from a building and in mid fall two huge white bat wings spread from under his robes flapping once to catch the air before wrapping around himself and doing a barrel roll towards the ground once again. He love the idea of free falling as its within those few seconds that he felt like he was human again and had the choice of suicide but his demon abilities never let him hit the ground even though in his mind he wanted to. He rose back to the height of the building and let himself drop once more towards the ground. If other demons were watching him they wouldn’t pay him much mind as he was common to be seen in this act. Once he was finally done having his fun he raised his nose to the sky and noticed the scent of smoke of a fire and his head ripped to that direction before he brought both hands together and the clap would rain out in that direction and his blind sight instantly caught sight of the fight and his large wings would easily catch the air. He was worried this might be an act of one of the rebels.

He swooped over the happenings and saw a dragon kind, They were never of he rebels normally so Malstaine just keep flying head for his home with the others Nobles of light. It was a large ebony castle filled with more land then could ever be. He walked through the door to see twin succubus screwing a fellow clans member which made Malstaine shake his head”I told you Stralix to keep your pets in your room, I will not give another work now leave me sight all of you”. The imp demon ran off with his hookers to the far east wing of the castle where the lesser demons that did not hold enough power to be noble but were of use were held. Malstaine began to climb the stairs of south tower and a hand would runs its way across his back in between his wings before its long snake like tongue wrapped itself around his ear and spoke to him “you need to learn to have a little fun with your own kind instead of those those fucking meat sack humans back on earth”. He payed the naga no mind and kept walking but she wouldn’t take his actions without anger which was all to common for her kind. He was pushed through a door luckily it was his own. He landed on the only thing in the room, his bed which was made of the softest yet firm materials and draped in the finest of silks. It had a veil around the bed so he could sleep as a human instead of as a demon like his fellow clan members. The Naga transformed into a woman with only a sash that covered her left hip and very little of her slit. Her breasts were to large to ever of belonged on a female body. He expected if a human had tits those big there spine would have snapped. She ran at him and jumped landing with her pussy right in his face before grinding trying to excite him but this only made him grow angry. He raised both of his massive hands which were somewhere in between human and demon and in one motion threw her out the damn window and twenty stories below before he heard a splash of her landing in the lake. There was a reason this room was his, he had a habit of throwing people through the window so they gave him a place that would have a soft landing. He walked over and locked the door happy the naga didn’t share his clan ability or she could simply pass through the door as he normally did.

He quickly slept but while he slept time sort of stopped around him as a hunter he had to always be alert of the world so when they slept they were outside of the time vortex of both worlds. This was the same for all Hunters and some Specters but only very few specters shared this ability. He awoke to a knock on his head to see another female but this one was geared like that of a demon knight which caught Malstaine off guard”I am here on behalf of the council to collect you as they would like to have a meeting with you to go over your place in the demon world after your two month stay.

He quickly sat up pulling a pint of rum and draining it down not that he could get drunk but he enjoyed the taste of the liquid even before he was demonic. He stood before the female in nothing but she took no notice of such or at least didn’t seem to. He robed himself by changing his outward appearance, she was a natural human looking demon which wasn’t common in this plain but it didn’t happen from time to time”so your an Angelic valkyrie Demon”. She nodded as a portal opened and they both stepped through and now he waited to be called by the High Lords.

The wind blew causing the bells to jingle wildly and The Jester stopped as the wind started to circle around it. The head tilted and the masks face became blank holding no markings as if it had retreated inside and was no longer in the shell. A trick it learned long ago to make people thing that it was a husk that it switched between. A group of demons came stalking towards the body as it stood there. How had The Jester been found? Its mind danced with possibilities and it broke its trick and looked up seeing the moon had come. Had it been walking so long that it lost track of the time of day? Soon the demons had circled it and where joining hands they all looked of different class and type but they were all working together for a common goal from what The Jester knew this was uncommon in the city of nodnoL closing its eyes the shadows where gone The Jester had nowhere to run. It had been trapped. Looking down the Jester saw something and its expression showed and its anger flared their energies had formed a demon trap locking it in place this was not a move of the council someone else wanted to speak with it but The Jester was trying to figure out who would be so bold and know so well as hot to trap it and when to find it easiest.

Its face became cold as it saw what had found it and how it knew. The Demon that walked forth was cloaked in dark black ropes with a leathery face and its eyes seemed gone its mouth was almost a gaping hole and it spoke. “So my daughter the rumors are true you are one of them doing the bidding of the council. Reliquish your keys and abandon your title.” The Jester stood a dagger slipping into hits hand as the man laughed. “You can’t move you can’t fight this what do you expect to gain?” The demon floated around the circle then touched one of the circle and it jerked its power wavered and broke the seal. The Jester was free. Moving with blinding speed or at least it appeared so its dagger was already in one of their throats and was ducking low in a turn coming up slashing another’s throat with just its nails two down as the others converged in a smile came across The Jesters mask. It’s father quickly retreating with what appeared to be a smile on its face. As the demons grew closer shadows appeared and The Jester turned to wisps of shadow as swords and blasts of energy shot through it as each killed the other leaving a bloody mess that it didn’t want to have to fill out paper work for. Dipping its finger in blood it drew a door on the side of a building and took its key plunging it into the stone and twisted it in random directions and the door opened but the mirror that was in front of it looked like a waterfall. Walking over and grabbing one its gauntlet was on its hand gripping the head of one drawing its soul into its Gauntlet and tossed the body into the gateway it had just opened as the body fell through the sky of the human world the demon tumbled landing in the center of the valley of the grand canyon. Turning it grabbed the tail of the Lamia that had joined this cause and tossed it in drawing its soul in as well as this one passed through the door way it found itself in the ocean sinking. Turning it slammed its fist into something it thought only one existed of a knowledge demon and drew in its soul then threw it into the doorway this one landed in the ruins of the library of Alexandria. It would talk with the bishop about this later it would want to know. The Jester then grabbed the rest and started slinging them in most landing in unexplored forests but the spider demon the one that had made the mistake of freeing it tossed and landed in the middle of a board meeting for one of the largest companies in the world Microsoft.

Once The Jester was done cleaning up its mess it slammed the door and then cleaned the blood away and walked off whistling now and letting its bells go back to jingling with each step The Jester took. Slowly making its way to a tavern it walked inside and slipped to the back and sat watching the patrons.

Akaxam continued to flick her black tongue out of her mouth, gripping the charcoaled pieces of the burnt enemy and placing them into her mouth. The blood was bitter in its burnt state, the crisp crunch unsatisfying to the dragon’s sensative tongue. She lapped her siliva onto the ashen outsides and softened it just a tad bit as a new hard surface appeared at each crunch of her magnificent teeth. The other demons went about their ways, keeping clear of the shadow dragon until it finished its prey. Some even took the chunks that landed on themselves and placed them in the dragon’s reach to allow her to have all of her prey.
She heard a light hum echoing into in her inner ear, something she had rarely heard as the one who tended to call her home did such as a rarity and only if he could not catch his prey. Her eyes narrowed as she raised her form, gathering the exploded bits in her mouth to swiftly chomp down the rest before taking her origenal prey and swallowing the corpse whole as it buldged down her through. Her attention then turned to the mirror she had snagged to hunt with. She grasped it in her teeth and her illusion took back as it seemed her regular humanistic form held it, even if it was still in her mouth.
She carried it with her back further into the slums of york new, seeing this extremely torn down hut that on Earth was a shitty apartment building. She trotted right on in as it was not just the one who should be calling but also her place too. Her eyes looked upon the one at the horn for her ears only, was not standing her partner but some shadow spectre facing to her. She knew this one saw her true form, sitting herself down suddenly as if a dog and wrapping her tail around her bottom and around to her front claws. Her eyes focused on the intruder as she questioned, “Why call that of which does not belong to you?”
The spectre eyed her, them tugging a cloak to hide their appearance as best as possible as their voice iced out, “I have spoken with the hunter that owns you. I need you to hunt someone.”
Akaxam’s tail began to gently tap at the tip, the fur waving up and down. She growled a little bit before saying, “I want his say.”
The spectre seemed displeased, simply saying, “Is my say not enough?” They turned to look at the door and then back at the dragon sitting in the middle of the room.
Akaxam shook her head as her voice resounded, “No. If you are to command me without knowledge of my hunter through trickery, then you are stealing from him. I will not move until my partner says otherwise.” She blinked once and folded her wings nearly flat against her body.
The spectre shook their head and said, “If you absolutely must, we will wait.” He moved to get himself comfy, Akaxam growling as he did and her eyes trained on him.

-Malstaine sighed as he shifted into his human earth form and found an arm chair sitting down he ran his long nail across the black leather not sure of its material thinking it might be the silk of a spider demon dyed but thought it could also be the wings of a dragon. He felt its alluring touch soothing his terror of being before the council lords. He placed his other hand on the arm of the chair and closed his eyes and as his feet were sat flat on the ground he felt the whipping motion as a large demon grabbed the leg of the chair and threw him out of the large chair. He flipped through the air landing on his back and he sighed wishing he was back in the chair because now he was rather uncomfortable so with an annoying tick he whistled at such a high pitch all the demons running at him stopped and grabbed there ears. He saw each and everyone of them so while still on his back he raised his right hand and spoke”tend not the fires of the body but the darkness that is your soul, this be your finest hour soul bane hear there cry and deny them severance in this are home of terror”. All the demons that were standing around them stopped when the soul bane slowly glowed red showing its judgement. They tried to run but there stood Konge and four of the dark ones that stood around him at all times. He had just entered the waiting room being called by the council though if someone didnt know him it would be hard to tell him from another citizen as he walked up in a hood and black jeans and his dark ones were dressed in cheerleader outfits and had long flowing purple hair tied in twin pig tails but there masks still remained. Konge waited for the demons to run past him and he smiled as his body erupted in fire and the five demons that had tried to kill Malstaine were now burnt to a crisp. Malstaine opened his hand and at fire his soul bane would begin to fall but before it could ever touch a surface it was gone once again in a realm only the hunter can reach this weapon.

He looked to Konge but before he could choose to even speak to the high king he was whipped through a infinity long hall four what felt like hours with rooms darting by with such force that death itself seemed that it would pass without sight in this hall. He came to a stop at the end of the long hall only second since he stood before the king but he now had a fine gray line through his hair where his human form had actually aged. He ran his fingers through the hair and it returned to it perfected brown. He looked down the hall able to see the king but he could also see him if he looked up the hall. This building felt like it was located on a paradox which just made Malstaine’s head hurt more then it had before. As he entered a high back chair was stationed for him to take a seat at the long table. He took one step and a burning fire covered his body till he was forced in his demon form which now towered over the robbed figure all but one but Malstaine wasn’t even up to this mans shin. He raised his head seeing up to the mans knee that was seated in his chair. He then walked forward and took a seat in the only open chair opposite from the robbed warriors. He looked to each of them and the one center and directly in front of Malstaine removed his hood and instantly a blue and red eye seemed to burn and soothe Malstaine’s soul. This ones name was Delphine the nephilim who stood as the diplomat between the angels and demons and the strongest of them all. Delphine spoke with such a relaxing voice but it felt like a nightmare”Hello young one, we have had many watching you these last few months and we wish to report that we have located your soul it is now a fighter for the rebels and has come to own both a soul bane and a specter gauntlet”. Malstaine turned his head using his blind sight to see the reaction of each of the demons and one by one they nodded and the angels seemed to feel sad for Malstaine but they also nodded. It was Malstaine duty to take back his soul but even a creature with the powers Malstaine had were limited compared to Ralstaine his other half. A side door opened and lizard crawled up the giants leg and crawled into its ear before speaking. The giant spoke”four lords and three of there guards have fallen because of a shadows specters and you will hunt down the bodies that were dropped into the human world. Malstaine stood from his chair and the fire that kept him in his demon world went out with a wave of the Nephilim. He waited and a demon at the far left of the table stood and with a snap of his fingers Malstaine was now standing above the grand canyon looking down into its depths.

He looked back seeing no humans around made him breath easily so he ran and jumped into the gorge though he used plain walker and when he crossed over instead of a desert he was now in a huge ocean. He looked around letting his sonic energy out at a high frequency but it was a bad mistake as he sank to the very bottom instead of being on the ground it began to move and twelve huge eyes opened up right in front of Malstaine”oh fuck”. Malstaine used plains walker once again and fell one feet reaching the bottom of the canyon seeing the first body. He knelt down placing his hand on the demon and its body was covered in wraps before it vanished to a table in a morgue. He then went back to the demon world standing in the ocean once again seeing the huge demonic fish coming towards him pissed him off now so he used his demon form which this beast did not expect. It was use to random human entering its rift through a cave in the human world but it saw the demon and swam towards the surface but Malstaine was waiting for it he spun one of his chains of damnation and it caught the back of the huge beast dragging him towards the surface. Once the creature reached the surface Malstaine shot up towards the sky and flew to a very old building which was the library of Alexandria. Malstaine looked over each of the books and closed his fist and in his room back in york new had a copy of each of them and he could read them as each page would speak its words to him. He then began to look for the demon but with nothing found he sent a letter back to the council. Lastly he draw a symbol on the ground and stepped onto it landing on the table in the board meeting in his human form”ill be taking that mutant with me, none of you should worry or remember this”. He raised his right hand and all of the humans went to sleep while he walked towards the demon who jumped out the window. He smiled and jumped out the window as well catching the spider demon by the throat before vanishing as well”tell me who sent you here or were both going to hit the ground hard”. The demon quickly told him everything and he vanished and the demon waited to die closing its eyes but when they opened them it screamed and tried to run as it was now laying on the table before the council.
He landed in front of the tavern where he tracked the soul path of the jester. He ran his fingers along the door smelling human but also demons and his blind sight let him see the seals on the walls so he shrugged and walked inside instantly seeing the jester but the demon at the bar also saw him and he told everyone to leave but the demons knew that he really meant for all the humans to leave with only four people remaining in the tavern Malstaine the jester its father and the man at the bar. Malstaine held out his right hand pointing at the jester”I feel you are the one ive come for little one”. He was currently in his human form but if tested he would use his demon form. He walked closer to the jester but he stopped short and growled deeply reading the aura of the jesters father and his demon form ripped forward. He then walked outside drew a line in the dirt”Everyone outside right fucking now”. He raised soul bane up but unlike the small claymore form it is in his human form it was the size of a jungle blade that was almost as wide as he was. He knew the jester was a specter but he didn’t have a soul to be stolen by there gauntlet”. He knew there was no other way out of the tavern but the front door where he was standing.

The Jester continued down the street watching the People of nodnoL wander about. As those eyes darted about people gave it a wide birth so it appeared as if the sea was parting for The Jester. It had no where in particular it was going for the time being as the moon shifted over head keeping the Jester visible. This was only a minor inconvenience to its day but it had done its job and protected its secrets. As The Jester turned down and ally it remembered something and grinned and took off in a run. It shifted its course and went up the wall and bounced off in an acrobatic flip landing on a roof top and just kept moving not even breaking stride or losing momentum. The Jester knew where its father liked to hide and knew where the doorway was. Taking a leep off the edge of the building and twisted in the air and caught a flag pole and spinning around it and seeming to be heading back the way it came. The jester only back peddled a few feet before shifting to run down the roof and did a curl and rolled down the roof like a ball falling from it and landed on its feet with a smile. Glancing from side to side The jester started to stroll down the ally watching the demons that had lost their wealth where hiding smiling it left them be and tapped its bells. They just looked to it and shook their heads having resigned themselves to this life. Stopping at the end of the ally it turned and looked to the wall. Speaking lowly it just watched the wall. “Mirror mirror on the wall. Show me the way to the hall.” Grinning it pulled out a key and slipped it into the illusion that hide a gateway to the human world. and watched the mirror shimmer into existence then stepped through once on the other side it twisted the key and watched the mirror disappear into a wall panel in the bathroom. It was the ladies room. The Jester walked out and spotted its father quickly talking with a group of humans but they didn’t seem right none of them did in fact things seemed odd here and The Jester just walked through the floor and hopped up onto the bar and looked to the bar keep with a nod and perched there watching staring at its father. The barkeep gave it a glass of water and it took it holding it in front of itself with both hands its long nails tapping against the glass.

Tilting its head to the new arrival it was curious as to why it came here The Jester had come here to settle some family business but would not do so in public view so there it sat and waited. Its mind raced as to why this hunter had been sent here then it became clearly obvious the hunter had come for it. Watching the humans leave it bowed its head and then shook it as the bells jingled on its hat and it hopped off the bar standing there and looked to the hunter then to its father. Debating wither to speak or not it rolled its head back doing a back bend like the fool it appeared to be. The lips on the mask pursed and it brought its finger up from its waist in a circle and brought it to the lips on the mask and then smiled bending forward again and turned its attention back to its father. “Was this your end game to kill your own child. You Rebel fool. I once carried your ideals but now that I have a new purpose in life you chose to kill me or where you trying to recruit me again. I have my masters now our clan can life with out the fool. It did for some time before I picked up the guise again.” The Jester left the statement at that. Then heard the Hunter command everyone out again and shook its head. then bowed low extending its arms towards the door as if to let its father go first. “You heard the man Everyone out and by all means age before beauty.”

The shade sat there for some time while taking in what its child was saying and was almost impressed tell it stated it had new masters. He knew his child bowed to no masters so why would it say it did now what angle is it playing at? What game was playing through that twisted mind it once had? “So you now serve the council the same council that exiled and stripped our clan of everything it once was? You truly are pathetic. I am disgraced to call you my child.” He then started moving to the door but stopped about 5 feet from it and shook his head. “This is meant for you not me though you did expose me maybe I should kill you like the hunter intends to to save him the trouble buy me some good will?”

The Jesters face faded and the mask was blank now. “You really think you can kill what you cant see?” Watching its father from behind a mask it moved towards the door before it seemed to vanish all but the jingle of its bells. ” You think you still have what it takes old man?” Then a Laugh filled the bar just the bar it came from all directions. The Hunter would now be able to see everything clear as day in the bar granted The Jesters father was looking about to find where its child had gone. The Jesters father looked panicked as it started to move about quickly searching the bar but avoiding the door all together. The hunter would be able to see that his pray was leaning against the door frame just inside the bar and it turned its head a blank face still and it spoke again. “I take it this is about my disposal of demons that learned to much that had betrayed us to the Rebels?” The Jester asked to the Hunter who was ready to strike it down as soon as it stepped outside.

Then the shade that had been inside took off in a crazed sprint in its demon form out the door with out thought or consideration to what was going on as it was in a panic and couldn’t think to the danger it just saw an exit and was taking it. When it stepped out it stopped and looked up to the massive demon outside and spoke. “Oh shit.”

The Jester pushed off the wall and stepped to in front of the door. Still staying inside the bar waiting to see what would happen to its father and crossed its arms ready to move if that massive sword came down and took out not only its father but the bar it was standing in as well. “Tell my why you are here and I think you might want to take me in alive.”

Akaxam sat there for a while, her eyes locked on the spectre for the entirety. She was irritated and it seemed her master was not coming. She growled lowly at the spectre until she finally had curiosity get the better of her. She wrapped her tail up under her body as she laid down, legs at the sides as she let her arms in front of her. Her illusion self was sitting with her legs crossed on the floor, not that the spectre saw that anyways. She spoke to the spectre, “So… What was that hit…” Her tail pulled out from under herself and wrapped around the length of her body.

The spectre eyed her up and left out a chuckle, causing Akaxam to growl. The spectre looked at her in the eyes, its eyes glowed red. She scooted back a bit from the spectre and they finally responded, “Curiosity killed the dragon…” It took out a small dagger and lunged towards the hound.

Akaxam stood up onto all fours and black flames began to spurt from her mouth, but she didn’t fire them at the spectre. She instead swiped with her claw to knock them to the side. The spectre hit the wall then faded into shadow, coming up behind Akaxam to be hit by her uncurling tail. Akaxam changed her flames to red and lit up the room, giving the spectre no where to hide. She then pinned the spectre to the wall with one of her front claws after turning to face the downed spectre. She repeated, “What was the hit?”

“Your master,” The spectre claimed then jabbed the dagger into the large claw. Akaxam didn’t let go though. She snarled and as the spectre spat out, “He is aligned to no side and must be dealt with. That is why I came to you. If you prove your loyalty to us, then we will give you a new owner.” He pushed the dagger in further as blackish blood fell out of the large beast. “Side with him, and you too shall parish.” The spectre twisted the dagger but Akaxam wouldn’t let go.

“My master has served your purpose, perhaps it is you that is aiding the enemy,” She snarled and forced her claw closed tighter, pushing the dagger out a bit. She heard the spectre starting to gasp for air so she closed it a bit tighter. She said, “Get the fuck out of my house and I will think about it.” She took the spectre off the wall and threw them out of the front window.

The spectre picked themself up and Akaxam roared out of the window at him. He took off rather quickly, realizing they should have sent a somewhat more powerful spectre to tell her this. She then put out the flames in her home and sighed, it resounding as a low growl. She needed to know if this was true of her master and maybe that was why he wasn’t around as much. She went out onto the streets, most of them seeing the illusion as she began to track her own master. She didn’t sprint though, just walked trying to trace the light scent of his blood through the crowd.

She followed it to a warehouse in the noble districts. She sighed knowing she shouldn’t be there at all. She tried to find a vantage point, seeing a tall window. She rose up onto her hind legs and peeked in. Her master was in there but he was tied up to a chair. There was a group of rebels around him. It looked like they were attempting the same thing the spectre wanted, him dead but they were torturing him. She glared as she allowed her black flames to sputter from her mouth, hot enough to melt down the front of the warehouse and spread out inside. The warehouse on earth began to have an electrical fire, a cop trying to get homeless out when the fire started and spread quickly. She had no knowledge of this plight and burst in through the hole, wings tucked in as she flopped in and her long neck reached down and bit a rebel on the neck before she tossed them into the air and swallowed them.

The greater rebels looked at her and smirked, taking out chains imbued with light from the other side. She yelped at them and flapped to get back out through the hole she came through, only turning her head to throw the black flames at them. She felt the chain wrap hold of her tail, tugging her back but she fought against it to get to the darkness outside. She touched her nose to a shadow and managed to puff away from the chain with a quick back up then pull. She hid then in a shadow and hoped they would put it away. She would have to report this herself.

She traveled through shadows as she headed for the council. She knew her hunter should do so but he was a little tied up at the moment. She ran as fast as she could from shadow to shadow, leaving trails between the darkness and lesser darkness. She went straight towards the council’s castle and went straight in through the front door. She went in and decided to pull a ticket with her mouth. It said forty two on it. She turned her head and saw the spectre sitting there. She growled and the spectre sat as still as possible. He was a good ten ahead of her. She sat down and snarled as she made herself comfy in the middle of the room, glaring right at the spectre.

-Malstaine watched as the jester began to exit speaking to the creature that his rage was centered but to hear this thing was the jesters father was amusing all its own right. But that voice he knew it all to well and it brought a smile to his demonic face. He looked down when the jester spoke this was interesting as most demons would run from his demonic aura”I was sent by your bosses to investigate the disposal of fellow demons in the human province, I will be taking you in for the board meeting as that was annoying”. He then spotted the father starting to run in a panic around the bar made him shake his head wondering what could it be that makes a leader of the rebels run in this kind of panic. He waited it out as the demon ran from the bar directly in front of Malstaine its look of terror grew more appealing. He cracked his right wrist planting his hand down quickly and the chains of damnation would wrap around this demon till he was cocooned. A huge black demon hound with spiky skin that looked like it was made of stone the size of the tavern they were beside ran by catching the wrapped up demon within its fangs and then vanished once again heading for the council.

Malstaine watched it run till it vanished into a plainwalker portal, it was able to do this because it shared Malstaine’s mark. He then turned back to the jester never really taking his senses off of it and began to reshape itself back down into his htraE form pulling up the dark hood of the council warriors and placing the smaller form of the soul banes tip between his feet but the handle still came up to his chin. He seemed to to be looking at the jester with his eyes but really it was still his vibrations. He had a face as if he was looking at someone he fancied”so this is what happened to the girl who just couldn’t keep her hands off of the kings jewels”. Malstaine began to walk either side looking at the jester”when I brought you before the council the king called for your funeral not to give you a promotion”.-

The Jesters eyes shot to the demon being encased and almost wanted to laugh. It’s head turned to the side looking up at the large beast that snatched the Jesters father up and nodded watching it vanish. the face on the mask returned and it simple had a smile on it. though what he saw from the vibrations of it was what looked like a demon trapped in an object that it could not escape but it reacted to the wearer and moved things around on the mask. It was a hideous thing that looked like it was on the Jesters face. Crossing it’s arms across its chest not under what should of been a bust as his words suggested. Then as his form shifted the masks eyes narrowed and the jested shook its head turning and walking back into the bar and snatched up the water and placed it to the mask taking a drink the water passed to the lips hidden behind this mask.

“So you caught me for my crimes and because I survived the king was displeased interesting. I think I remember telling you that the fool will never die.” setting the empty glass of water down The Jester hopped back up onto the bar and perched. “You wish to take me in to the board for review for my actions. I took all their souls the mortals will just see them as disfigured humans or some human with a penchant for mutilating others and making corpses into freaks.” Bowing it’s head The Jester took a breath. “I was a rebel back then a foolish notion but it was the council that exiled my kind. I find it funny that they showed mercy to one of us I also wonder in my sanity if it was all just a means to hunt down the rebels with what I know?” Its hand extended to a chair at a table across from her. “Maybe we should talk before you take me back or are your orders so clear that you must follow them with out question and we don’t have time to share a drink and a story?”

Akaxam kept eying the spectre that was numbers ahead of her. She only peeked to see who would be taken in next, swiftly returning growling eyes to the sturdy spectre. She looked at him and then down at the ground, pupils unseen as the azure orbs appeared to have no pupils. She snapped her eyes back to him and said, “He was innocent, asshole.”

The others sitting in wait looked at her and then the spectre, waiting to see what would happen. The spectre looked right at her and tilted his head as words seemed to want to come out one way but came out another, “What on htraE do you mean? He has no loyalty, that makes him a traitor.”

Akaxam sat herself up as she pulled with her front claws to be right in front of the spectre as she looked down at him, their only minor distraction was as a large hound carrying a ball of chains ran through. She noted the marks on the hound and knew who it belonged to, as did the spectre. Akaxam showed respect as it darted through by bowing her head, then when it was gone to the council itself, she turned back to the spectre and said, “He was a man loyal to the council and you caused his death. If you are here to condemn me, than you are not loyal to the ones you are condemning me to.”

The spectre pointed a finger at her as he stood and yelled, “How dare you accuse me of disloyalty!” He stood firm as the others in the waiting room scooted away from the scene while watching intently.

Akaxam stood up and with a roar right into the spectre’s face, “How dare you accuse him without cause then attack his hound without prompt!” She growled at him as involuntary flames sputtered from between her teeth of the black sort. She glared at him and said, “You are a fucktard that should be a charred spurt on the wall…” The demons watching scooted a bit further away to watch. The spectre just chuckled at her. “The fuck is so funny?” She growled at him.

“Once that hound is done…” The spectre waved his ticket around, “I will throw you to them on a silver platter… bitch.” He laughed at her in her face. She knew she couldn’t do shit in here and looked at the other demons who still seemed to be expecting a fight. They calmed down and were scooting back as if they thought her sanity was in tact. She followed the laws, but she certainly was not sane. The black fire flew from her mouth at the spectre, who moved out of the way. She quelled it and snapped her head around just to see him snapped away.

She looked at the spot he was taken from and looked down at the ground. She knew she was fucked now. He’d lie his ass off just to get her institutionalized. She dropped her number and made a run for her house. She knew she wasn’t safe there, she just wanted a bit more time. They’d send someone for her and then she’d be ready. She ran as fast as she could and ripped into her house and stared at the mirror she had gotten earlier, just watching through it.

-Malstaine turned his head to the side so his left ear was facing the jester and he used vibrations to see if the jester may be trying to pull a trick as it was the fool. He could not detect any form of bluff coming from the creature not that the fool would try such it was one of the few creatures still in existence had known how the blind sight works but is not the wielder of such. He walked into the bar and the bar tender did not seem happy till Malstaine opened his pocket and unrolled a contract and the demons horridly took it and brought Malstaine a large pint of demonic alcohol. It looked huge compared to his current human form but none the less he would be able to drink the huge pint easily. He turned back to the jester who he was now sitting across from and began speaking”I was not planning to hunt you and I do not have any rules to bring you back for questioning by the council as long as I myself learn of the happenings that lead up to the bodies being left in the human plain, If your compliant with me then you can go about your business as a specter and never worry about today so begin your story”. Malstaine used both hands to lift the huge pint and drink from it before he leaned forward placing his finger tip on the jesters mask and an illusion covered its form now looking like a large breasted blond in a tiny black dress”. Malstaine then smirked not sure how long it would take the jester to realize what it looked like. Malstaine pointed at the humans returning when the jester realized its form. He needed the jester to stay disguised as long as they remained in the human form”this is the form you will take anytime humans look at you from now on”.-
