*I hold her hand and smile to myself.* “Do you know any of the star formations?”

*As I finish up I close the box and pack it neatly away in my bag. Just as the sun creeps over the horizon I lay down.* “Hey you can already see a few stars.” *I smile and point towards the sky.*

*I smile at her as the sun begins to set.* “Yea, I’m really glad we could do this tonight.”

*I open up our food and pass her a box.* “We should eat before the sun goes down.” *I smile and open up a box for myself.*

*When we come to the top of the hill I set her down and open my bag. I take out a large blanket and spread it out on the hilltop. I sit down and gesture for her to sit next to me.*

*When the sidewalk comes to an end I pick Autumn up with one hand around her back and another below her knees.* “We don’t have very far to go. The trail is quite short and will take us right to the hilltop.”

*As we walk toward the park I notice she is wearing a nice dress and shoes.* “If you want I can carry you once we get there. I don’t want you to have to walk through the grass in your shoes.”

*I smile.* “Well I’m glad you think so because that’s the plan.” *I hold the door open to my favorite Chinese restaurant. Once we are inside I order some Rice and Orange Chicken, I decide to get a house special Chow Mein hoping we will have enough.* “Is that enough? Do you want anything else?”

“It doesn’t look like it’s going to be very cloudy tonight. The sun will set in a little while so maybe we can stargaze a bit.”

“Takeout,” I say with a smile. “I’m thinking Chinese food or maybe Tai. Something easy to carry.” *I point towards my backpack.* “I thought we’d eat outside so I brought us a picnic setup.”

*I look slightly confused.* “Of course I’m happy you could come along.” *As we walk I grab her hand.*

*As she approaches I smile and wave back at her.* “Hey, are you all set?”

*I text Autumn.* (RE: No do you want to make plans?)

*I stare at the projector movie on the ceiling and rub her back.*

*I look surprised.* “Rico? Are you watching the movie?”

*We lay down watching the movie.* “You always pick out horror movies.”

*I smile at her and get out some more DVD’s.* “Here.” *I prop the projector up against the headboard of the bead so it projects onto the ceiling. While she looks for a movie.*

“What’s that for?” *I point toward the projector.*

*I look agitated.* “Water, that’s cheating Nicola.”

“Oi, Rico. What are you looking for?”

*I look at her surprised and amused.* “Nah Rico, you make it sound like a bad thing when you say it that way.”

*I glance through the peephole and see the top of Nicola’s head and open the door.* “Ciao Rico, come in.”

*I smile at her.* “Sure whenever you want.”

*I smile at her and walk her out.* “No problem.”

“What are you two going to do?”

“Whos that?”

*I smile and kiss her.*

“Yea I do.” *I smile.*

“Well I find you beautiful.”

“Well, i’m glad you are healthy.”

“Is it better now?”

“I see. You’re healthy now no?”

“Well popularity isn’t so important. And your making plenty of friends.” *I smile and try to reassure her.*

“Well I think you made a good choice.”

“That doesn’t sound bad at all.”

“Really? What happened…”

“You can tell me.”

“what was it?”

“I don’t think we really talked about it.”

“Yea, I hold her tightly.”

“That’s a funny thing to be sorry for.” *I kiss her forehead.*

“Listen, whatever it is… You shouldn’t try to hold everything okay? We can talk about it whenever you want to.”

“I’m sorry!” “It’s alright.” *I hold her and rub her back wondering what on earth she’s talking about.*

*I look confused.* “Who would?”
