Alanya Ikeda was a girl born in Kōfu, Yamanashi-ken. Over the course of her human life, she grew weary and tired, and her mental state deteriorated. She took to Aokigahara, the Sea of Trees, within her home prefecture for solitude and guidance. Alanya couldn’t take it anymore, she took it upon herself to take her life, and have her spirit wander Aokigahara. She had hurt herself before and was prepared to complete her task, before a wandering vampire completed Alanya’s task for her. Reborn as a vampire herself, Alanya paused, examining her new form. She observed the trees around her, cautious that they had watched her act. Alanya fled the forest, as fast as her new additional strength could take her, running in despair, keen to leave behind her human soul in the forest for the wandering spirits to watch over.
