Sky looks around noticing almost everyone is with a partner but her. She see’s Dakota having no partner. She shrugs and walks over to Dakota, who is exploring the place. Sky smiles warmly and asks, “Can I be your partner please? Everyone else already has one.”

Fredrick began looking around the entry way, seeking any small details cast about the room.

Dakota finds a light switch to the left of the doors.

Dakota scans the walls and ceiling from a light switch or anything to get more light. He checks his phone battery so he won’t run out.

Scanning the room, Dakota can make out the vague shapes of furniture: chairs, a table, other things. As Dakota does this, a vague humanoid figure is seen with the pass of the light. Showing the light immediately on the same space again though reveals nothing, as if the shape had disappeared, or never even existed at all.

“I don’t know.” Dakota pulls his phone out and turns on the flash light. “But lets hurry, who will come with me?” He says still looking around the room with the light he has.

Fredrick peers over Dakota into the room beyond “darkness there and nothing more” he quotes, he looks back at the rest “how shall we split the groups?”

Opening the doors, Dakota sees an optical blackness. Only the light from the hall allows you to know that there is space beyond the doors, shining on the floor and revealing a room beyond the frame. Nothing can be seen beyond that though.

Beatrix nodded towards Emily with a small smile, glad to have another female stand up. When the freaky incident happened, Beatrix looked at the doors almost hatefully, tempted to open the doors. “Freaky house….” Beatrix mumbled, frustrated that she couldn’t tell what was going on with the mansion. Dakota steps back looking around as mysterious things happen. When they end he looks at the group of people. “Lets try to find our host as soon as possible, I recommend groups of two.” I step towards the door a bit slowly and push them open.

Dakota finds two wooden double doors by the large stairway in the center of the main hall, he stands by it with Beatrix and Fredrick close by.

After Emily makes her introductions to the crowd, a silence falls upon the group, as if they are considering the proposed plan of action.
