Arrenadd watched him go before talking with his brother about changing a few things.

Makio nodded and hesitated for a moment before leaving to return to his desk. He slumped over in his chair, letting his head rest down on his desk with a slight sigh, staring off into space for a moment before taking out his phone and texting rapidly.

“Oh.. yeah thanks again.” Arrenadd says as he watches Makio.

Makio nodded, returning Arrenadd’s smile with a small, somewhat shaky one of his own. He put his hands in his pockets and fidgeted awkwardly for a moment, “En…. Is that all you need?” He asked somewhat tentatively.

Arrenadd looks at him for a moment before a smiles forms on his face, “Thanks.”

Makio paused and turned back around, “Ah… I dunno…” He murmured, fiddling with the camera strap, “It was good.” He answered tentatively.

Arrrenadd, blinks as he watches him. “What did you think of it?” He asks before Makio could leave.

As they finished, Makio didn’t really know how to respond. He looked between Arrenadd and Gunther as if searching for some kind of clue on their faces. Arrenadd looks to his brother and when he nods he presses a button on a remote he had to start the music.

Makio nodded, still wary of his ability to critique the music. He pulled himself onto a table in the back, slowly kicking his legs back and fourth, watching the other two as they prepared and entered the sound booth.

Gunther shrugs, “That’s fine we just need to know if it sounds good or not.” He looks to Arrenadd.

Arrenadd stands back up and nods, “Musics ready we just need to get into the booth and sing.”

Gunther nods and heads to the sound booth.

Arrenadd smiles at the other two before following his brother in.

Makio shrugs, “I’m not good with words.” He said softly yet bluntly in a somewhat awkward way that seemed to suggest social ineptitude. He lifted his camera up to his face, looking around the room through the viewfinder for a moment.

Gunther looks at Makio but smiles, “You don’t have to worry about me harming you in any way. Anyways I’m just here because we were working on the lyrics a bit more to fit with the music. You guys want to here?”

Arrenadd looks to his brother then back to the others before he sits in the chair and starts to mess with sound a bit.

Shino nods to them “same”

Makio glances between the two of them briefly, then meets Gunther’s eyes for a moment. “Nice to meet you.” He said with a deep bow, holding his camera close to his chest “Please treat me kindly.”

Arrenadd walks in behind them and closed the door, then goes over to another person, that was sitting in a chair with headphones on listening to something, and taps his shoulder.

Man looks up to Arrenadd before taking off the headphones and stands. He looking to be a bit older then Arrenadd but only by a few years.

Makio nods to him and slips into the room silently, picking up his camera again and absentmindedly paging through the pictures he currently had saved on his SD card.

Arrenadd blinks for a second then smiles again. “It’s fine.” Once to the sound room he opens the door for them.

Makio snapped a picture of Arrenadd in the brief moment both his eyes were exposed, his photographer’s instincts kicking in before his mind could. He blinked and quickly looked down, “…Sorry.” He looked down at his camera’s screen, looking over the photo. He let his camera drop around his neck again without deleting the photo despite his apology.

Arrenadd stops hearing another set of foot steps. Then he glances behind him and smiles seeing Makio. As he turns his hair moves from his eye a bit showing a hint of blue behind it before it’s covered again.

Makio watches them leave before ducking his head back into his computer, resuming his work, diligently editing his photos for a few seconds before his attention was drawn from the screen to the camera on his desk. Arrenadd looks at the ground, “You don’t have to know anything about music. I just need to know it sounds good.”

Makio glances up briefly from his monitor, looking toward Arrenadd then briefly exchanging a glance with Shino before ducking back behind his screen, burying his face in his tablet, muttering something about not knowing anything about music.

Arrenadd runs back in after an hour, his shirt on now, and looks at them. C-could you guys come listen to this? I need other people’s opinions…”

Shino flips a thumb up “thanks” he remarks, already starting another piece.

Makio watches him leave with a dull stare before turning back to the printer and retrieving his prints. As he walked back to his desk, he stopped to look at the other drawings pinned on Shino’s board. Arrenadd stops writing for a second and looks at the paper humming a few notes before he jumps up and takes off to the sound room.

Arrenadd glances at Shino the looks back to his work.

Satisfied, Shino, swivels in his chair and pins the drawing to his board.

Arrenadd looks down to his notebook before opening it and starting to work. Setting his one ear bud down, leaving the other one in, just in case Makin spoke to him again.

Makio glances up at Shino and snaps a picture of him quickly, fast enough that he wouldn’t be able to react. He glances down at the screen on his camera with a small smile, giving a small nod of approval, “It looks cute.” He said in a somewhat monotone voice.

Shino triumphantly holds his work up “behold, Cthulhu-chan.”

“Cool I guess. I don’t know much about cameras..” Arrenadd said softly as he looked to his notebook then back to Makio.

Makio nodded somewhat stiffly, “I see…” he murmured in response, allowing his gaze to drift off around the room before refocusing on Arrenadd, “Erm… so…” He mumbled, wracking his brain for any conversation topic, staring as the printer slowly spat out his pictures, “Canon’s releasing a new DSLR lens later this week,” he said… Read more
