“…” So, the person did deliveries huh? Shame he wouldn’t be able to label himself a package and get delivered to New York, it might be faster than waiting here. Even so, he decided to not interfere, but he did get a bit closer to better listen in on this conversation.

This kid was really trying to charm her. In her diminishing age, friendly youth were a welcome sight.

“Sorry, kid,” she said, “Yeah, there’s a lot of space in here, but I just do deliveries.”

Sherly smiled brightly at the woman hoping to charm her “Do you have any space, any space at all?” they asked, hoping to charm her.

“Err…” Justine said. “I was just going to deliver some boxes of that lIon stuff to some office in Buffalo. Sadly, that job seems to have not materialized.”

She looked away from the scene that was unfolding right in front of her. How could someone be so blunt? She was admiring that. It was characteristic that she lacked.

That’s one way to do it, Jayne mused. She supposed that bluntness was probably their best option in this case, as they had already been caught staring at the woman.

“….” Kaito raised a brow to Sherly, surprised at the fact they would just flat out say that. He decided to keep quiet, hoping this doesn’t end badly.

“Oh yes!” Sherly pipes up “We were just looking at your van & we wondering if you know anything about the lack of transportation to New York or anything.” they said awkwardly.

These kids were definitely looking at her. Also talking about her.

This was bizarre and made her uncomfortable, so she leaned her head out of the window of her van.

“Can I help you with something?” She asked.

Sivan exhaled and shook his head a bit before speaking up. “Look, guys– since we’re all going to the same place and have no rides, we gotta do something.” He gestured to the van. “Yeah, maybe she knows what’s up with this.”

Valarie shuffled uneasily. She has no idea what the woman was talking about but she knew it couldn’t be good. “You guys,” she said blow a whisper, “what’s lIon..?”

He thought for a second before answering, keeping his voice hushed. “I’m not sure myself, Personally I’m worried to approach…”

Summer looks around confused. She whispers to Kaito “Uhm, what to we do…? Do we even do anything..?”

He sighed to himself, watching the others going on about the van. At this point he was just considering walking and seeing if he could get somewhere. Its not like anyone would really notice if he left, plus he thought it a bad idea to try and approach the van after what he had seen. Kaito decided to observe some more before seeing if he could go.

Sherly considers this a moment before saying “Well, I don’t want to get  killed by relatives because I didn’t show up or even try, so I’m going. Anyone want to come with me in case she’s just a loon & wants to kill?”

“I don’t even think I want to ask considering what just happened to Sherly and me,” she glances over at the van and can’t help but wonder.

“Well, we can sit around and play on our phones, or we can figure out what the effing universe wants with a bunch of strangers who just so happened to want to go to the same place.” She took a good look at the van. “Think she knows something?”

Valarie sighed. “That’s an understatement. This is insane. What are we even supposed to do?”

Sherly sighed “Well, I think I can speak for all of us when I say-” they shouted an obscenity at the top of his lungs “This is horrible.” They said calmly.

Valarie stood there, shocked. She was confused and scared. All she wanted was a way to get to New York.

Sivan raised an eyebrow as the eighteen wheeler showed up, watching as the others questioned the vehicle, tilting his head in a dog-like way. He half-smiled a bit, slightly amused.

His attention went to the van, his expression now curious and confused. He had the urge to walk up to it, but stayed behind with the group.

One of the security people stepped intimidatingly towards Sherly and Valarie. “Let the driver alone,” he said.

“Last box,” another said, climbing into the back of the truck. The others followed and the sliding door on the back slammed shut. As quickly as the vehicle had arrived it was gone.

Valarie stepped back a bit. “D-Do you know why there aren’t any flights to New York? We’re all suppose to be headed there.” She points to the group of people she just met.

Sky’s mouth opens in awe a bit. She closes it and doesn’t say a word. She looks at everyone then back at the car.

“Back off, lady,” the driver said. “I’m just trying to do my job.”

Four men wearing what seem to be security uniforms exit the airport and begin loading large boxes into the truck.

“Hurry it up. Andel is supposed to show up any minute,” said the driver from inside of the vehicle. “I don’t even want her to see the taillights.

Valarie eyed the eighteen wheeler suspiciously. She slowly walked towards it after a minute of staring.

“E-Excuse me..” She knocked on it’s door, hoping the driver would answer. Maybe he had answers to her questions too.

Sky looks at Kaito then at the car. “Thats weird…Well, my ride got ‘cancelled'” She does quotation signals wit her fingers.

He shook his head in response. “Its not the ride I was expecting, and my tour bus was toast…”

Sky whispers to Kaito “Uh, Is that your ride…?” She stands up patting the dirt on her butt off. “Definitely not mine.”

“….?” Kaito glanced towards the eighteen wheeler, one brow raised. Maybe he was here for someone else? “Hm.” Well, Kaito assumed that he was here for someone else. If it was his ride, well he would have gotten a message. At least someone else would be  lucky.

I won’t say it’s normal for an eighteen-wheeler to pull into an airport parking lot. I won’t say it’s abnormal either. Different places have different rules on this kind of thing.

Valarie sighed and crossed her arms, irritated at the thought of flights being canceled. “All New York flights aren’t even on the time board. It doesn’t even state that there were any flights coming in or out of New York.. It’s like it doesn’t exit to this place.”

“Okay, I know I said ‘cosmic B.S.,’ but this is getting a bit too coincidental. I mean, it’s not like all our flights were cancelled, or something, right?” She looked around at the others.

Valarie’s eyes shot open as she heard the words “Mew York come out of someone’s mouth. She looked over at the group of people talking and walked over to them. “I’m sorry for eavesdropping,” se said nervously, “but I heard someone say they were going to New York. That’s where I’m headed. Well, where I was suppose to be headed.”

Sherly smirked, looking at Sivan’s ear “Oh yeah? What does it look like? Dark blue?” They asked, tuning into the conversation of the group.

“Okay they need to go to New York, I need to go to New York, I’m assuming you do too.” Sherly scanned the group “If I was religious, I would say this was fate.”

“Yeah, some kind of cosmic B.S.” Her phone buzzed but it was just a reminder to practice playing. Jayne scowled and dismissed it, shoving the mobile angrily back into her jacket pocket.

“Concert?” she asked after a breath. “What do you play?”

“Well, Originally I was meeting my mate here to head for a concert, but they called last minute and said the tour bus was outta commission, so I can’t get my stuff, or get to NYC.” He sighed, playing with his scarf.
“Shitty day for everyone it seems, huh?”
