Asher backs away from the group a bit his ears now up and he looks to the sky. His ears soon lay back seeing smoke.

“Mhm,” her head slowly nods as Raven points out the names. Xiuh soon lays down, her tail curls around her body. At that moment, she’s about half her actual size.

“Oh, Xiuh-this is Asher. I became a thief in your absence-and accidentally acquired a party of friends. That is Quicksilver. You know Shiv; and the shape-taker is named Kit.” Raven motioned to her back. “The human is named Khione.”

 

She noticed how nervous the wolf-drake was becoming.

 

“Raven,

Asher stays silent as he watches all of them his ears back again and fur slowly standing.

“… I don’t quite like people who flaunt their heritage around that much. It’s just a little bit sickening.” Quicksilver sighs, “I lost so many friends… they all left as soon as they figured out my heritage…. I always try to hide it now, I even left home, hoping that it wouldn’t matter anymore…”

Snorting from the Boop, Shiv tossed his head a little “True I’m not an elder,” he eyes Xiuh a little “my honoured mother is though.”

Xiuh snorted. She looked at Shiv. “Because you’re not a royal, dear.” she stood up on her hind legs again and walked over to Shiv. She instantly grew in height and length. She went back down on all fours. “So respect your royals and elders.” She lifted her arm and bopped Shiv  on the snout with her claw. “Boop!” she giggled and walked right… Read more

Shiv snorted “must be a regional thing, all I got was a whole loada goblins”

“Kit, you misunderstand. In the world of drakes, Wyverns can be assigned to any Dragon at birth. I was assigned to this dragon.” She stated this as a fact. It was absolute in her eyes; and that absolution could be felt by all of them. “I was supposed to be her guard… and I failed.” The red eyes flickered down.

Xiuh let out a low, deep, growl. She moved slightly away from Kit. “I don’t think it’s your business to know. Either answer could mean a brutal death to me,” Xiuh cracked her jaw. “And besides, only Raven is allowed to know that.” her eyes glanced over to Raven, then back to Kit.

“Well, this is interesting.” Kit drawled, transforming in an explosion of blue fractals until she mimicked the new dragon’s form, minus being colored a midnight blue with stars gleaming amongst everything. “I was unaware dragons had a concept of royalty. Or are you, perhaps, just a clan leader?” she tilted her head slightly to one side, awaiting an answer.

Asher looks at all of them his ears laying back as he gets uncomfortable.

Shiv let out a long suffering sigh, “at least this one is friendly, I am Shiv and you stand in my domain”

Raven backed away. She was ridiculously pleased to have this dragon here.

Khione groaned, and Raven put the girl back on her place in between her shoulders.

The dragon cracked her jaw, pushing Raven away gently. “Mhm..yes,” the female said, sitting up. She glanced at everyone else, snorting. “I suppose I should introduce myself.” the dragon cleared her throat, though, it wasn’t going to help her voice change one bit. “I am Xiuhcoatl, or Xiuh. Raven shook her head, blinking out the ash. The powder rained back down on the dragon harmlessly as she did so. Raven snorted acid, equally red eyes glowering up at the offender. Instead of impaling them, as she had hoped to, she was stunned by the drake. The dragon backed up, looking at Shiv. Its head turned back the Raven. It stood, on two legs, swaying its tail back and forth. Its tongue flicked out a few times. Raven felt the dragon’s body slam into hers, and lost the human. Khione fell unconscious on the ground nearby, laying in an awkward position.

The Wyvern hissed in a most primal fashion. She was accustomed to seeing dark hide, and knowing only two things. Bite first, and ask questions later. She spread her fantastic wings and snapped them back… Read more

Giving a resigned sigh, Shiv turns to the newcomer, “Great, another one” shaking himself a to clear his head he addresses the sky “momentous events must be incoming”

With a few slips and slides, a pitch black dragon fell off of the top of Shiv’s cave. It fell off of the top, and landed by Raven’s side. The dragon was about her size. “It’s not always the trouble that combat is needed in.” Asher growls softly.

Quicksilver nods, “That would be a valid excuse, but I don’t find enough trouble in my travels… So I wouldn’t really mind it.” He stretches. “I haven’t seen a lot of combat in a while.”

Asher looks at Shiv, “I am sorry for trespassing in your territory.” His gaze shifts to Quicksilver. “I wouldn’t recommend being around me for very long. Trouble always seems to find me anywhere I go.”

“…Asher, huh? My name’s Quicksilver. Do you mind if I join you for a little while?”

Shiv bows a little to Asher “Don’t cause any trouble and we’ll get along fine”

“Asher” He says almost to quiet to hear.

“I don’t really care who you are.” Raven started. “But I’m not stupid enough to try to eat you, ok? Look-don’t thank us. But, can you at least tell us your name?”

Asher looks up at them his ears back and head low. He wasn’t afraid to fight if it came down to it.

Raven landed, her feathers along the nape of her neck lowered. “I wasn’t going to kill him Khione.”

But the girl already knew that. She nodded-and looked at the half-wolf with that unique human curiosity.

Dragon growls at them, “Fine then you can deal with the halfling. Though I worn you know if he is out of your territory at all he will die by my claws.” the dragon snorts out before turning around. Opening it’s large wings if flies away.

Shiv snorts “You may be outside of my territory, but this wolf isn’t” he swings his head to look from on side of the cleaning to the other, “the boundary runs right through this clearing”

“Good… then I will kill you and steal all you possess!” Raven threatened.

“Surely you don’t mean-”

“Silence, Khione. When did you start to question my actions?” The Wyvern circled twice before going on. “I have your back, Shiv-Quicksilver.” The human held her tongue, but glared as she pulled a much more beautiful creation from under… Read more

Dragon straightens and faces Shiv. “Yet I am no longer on your territory. I know where your sent marks are so I know the boundary.” The dragon then glances back at Asher as he tries to move away. Moving its tail it blocks Asher’s path.

Asher growls at the dragon.

“Speaking of which… Sorry about invading on your territory. I never did say that yet. I was just passing by. Ok, distraction over. Back to whatever you were doing.”

Dropping heavily into the clearing, Shiv reared up regally with his wings spread.

“Before considering who’s business this is,” He booms while glaring “think about who’s territory you trespass in”

Dragon looks back at him and growls. “This has nothing to do with you!”

Asher looks at Quicksilver and he growls softly.

Quicksilver reaches the opening and lands behind the dragon, “Hey, leave… it… alone!” He snarls at the dragon.

Asher was backing away from a large dragon growling but he had a slight limp. Now that he was in the open it could be seen that he a larger than a normal wolf and he had wings and spikes going down his back.

/hm… maybe having a companion is better than it really seemed. Hm… No, I’m still not going to get one./ Quick launches into the air and follows the yelp. /…Still. I like wolves. Let’s hope that wolf is ok./

Smoke could be seen where the fallen trees were.

Shiv peers towards the fallen trees, head tilting “more company?”

A piercing yelp fills the air and a crash right after it. A few trees fell in the distance where the noise came from.
