Miu-ka finally stops, and puts forth a hand invitingly. “It is just ahead.” She giggles quietly, and waves around a sickle. “Now, get your weapon ready. It won’t be easy in there.” Her eyes paled, and her smile was disturbingly hard to read. “But if it gets too rough, don’t worry… I’ll help you.”

I’m horrified, yet I’m attracted… What the heck is wrong with me?!

“Well, that’s sweet! Thanks!” and Zeran is almost dragged the entire way.

 

“Oh, well, if you want, you can go to the arena… and if you win, you will get a reward…probably a weapon.” She smiles brightly, grabbing for his hand. “I’ll take you there.” The door opens with a menacing creak, but Miu-ka walks with a skip in her step.

“Call me whatever you want, though where I’m from, I’m called Zeran.” He shakes her hand. <i>Dang, she’s cute! </i>”So… um… know where I can get a sword?”

(man, that would make for an awesome twist… if he actually wasn’t human)

“They aren’t disgusting.” She pulled back, her body relaxing. “It’s just… that you can’t trust them.”

A sigh escapes past her lips, and her brow un-furrows as she brightens. “But… since you aren’t human, we can be friends!” Her eyes close, and she smiles, offering her hand. Tiny claws mount each finger. “My name is Miu-ka.”
