Leo looks to him and blinks, “Umm… okay.”

Amato glances at Leo again, “I have been informed,” he begins, “that Master will likely be arriving within a 24 hour period. Due to Master’s impatience, Master has decided to begin your training as soon as possible, further instructing me to tell you, ‘I’m bored and have come to the conclusion that you would be the most productive waste of my time.”

Leo looks to Guan Yu when he begins to sharpen his blades, “Wow”

Placing his tea down, Guan Yu begins to sharpen his blade.

Annabeth smiles to herself still watching the group.

Leo nods, “Yep.”

Amato cocks his head to the side, making eye-contact with a slow blink, “You’re pleased with that outcome, correct?”

Leo looks up to him and smiles, “Okay cool.”

“Thank you.” Amato says, then his eyes darken to a deep blue and seemed to become unresponsive for about a minute. He blinks, returning back to reality, “Master has expressed interest in you.”

“Yeah I guess.” Leo says as he pets the tiny dragons head with his finger.

Amato nods, “I would agree, that is the most prudent sentiment for this situation.” He turns to Leo again, “However, if I may, I would like to send word to Master that you are considering it. Will you provide consent to that?”

Leo shrugs, “Maybe, lets just see how this book thing turns out.”

Amato watches the dragon move around and nods, “Quite good craftsmanship.” He comments, “You have an interesting style. If you wish to, you could fairly easily apprentice at my affiliated corporation.”

Leo easily fixes the dragon using a few extra parts. He soon steps back once the dragon was finished.

Dragon looks around at everyone before it begins t walk around on the table.

Amato attempts to return Leo’s smile and looks down, watching Leo’s repair.

Leo smiles brightly, “Thank you!” He says before he begins to work on the dragon again.

Amato nods, “I believe I have a spare leftover from beta testing.” He turns his wrist so his forearm faced upward. A small hatch opened up and his eyes momentarily went black, then a small chip popped out. He picked it up and handed it to Leo, “It should be compatible.”

Annabeth watches from her spot

“Yeah that’s right.” Leo looks at Amato and smiles.

Amato takes a little closer look at the dragon, “Will it take an c-16 IBM chip or does it require an older model?” He asks, lifting up a wing with an extremely gentile hand, “Its a -S size, correct?”

Leo looks at him, “Yeah I also need to find the right chip for him or he will break down.” He begins to mumble to himself as he things.

 

Amato glances at the dragon as it flies, then looks to Leo, “I would recommend increasing the gear ratio around the joints, increasing surface area of the wings and decreasing the weight of the body.”

Dragon flaps its wings and gets a few inches off the table before it falls again.

 

Leo catches it before it could hit the table. “I’ll have to adjust your wings a bit so you can fly around without having to worry about falling.”

Once Annabeth reaches the end of the hallway and is out of sight from the others she puts her yankee hat on and turns invisible. She then quietly returns to the main area where the others are but is watching Mica

Amato turns towards Guan Yu, “It is a private area designed for women to carry out biological function.” He recites the definition from his databank.

Guan Yu strokes his beard “that is a term I am unfamiliar with, Little Girls Room.”

“hey guys I’ll be right back I’m going to the Little girls room.” Annabeth says before walking down a hallway

Guan Yu sips his tea again, “I can sympathise with your plight.”

Amato glances down at the dragon then up to Leo, “I understand the situation.” He says, then looks back down.

Leo looks to her again and smiles, “That will be interesting to watch.”

“I’m sure they are and if not when we get back I will beat them within an inch of their life.” Annabeth declares

“Yeah, hopefully the others are taking care of him.” Leo says as he looks at the ground again.

“We can only hope that he is safe back at home” Annabeth says to Leo

Leo looks at her, “Yeah but he isn’t here. Once again he is gone.”

“Don’t worry Leo. You brought him back to life” Annabeth says giving him a reassuring smile.

Leo looks at the little dragon as it begins to move around, “Back at camp- in the books he was my friend.” He looks at the ground his smile gone. “He helped my friends and I on one of our quests till he…”

Amato tilts his head to the side slightly, examining the dragon from a different angle, “What is the relevance of this ‘Festus’ creature.”

“looks like a Dragon with the wings of a bat” Guan Yu remarks.

Annabeth smiles watching them but keeping an eye on Mica.

Leo once finished he sets the miniature dragon on the table, “So this is a mini Festus.”

“Great idea Leo.” Annabeth says smiling

Leo his eyes light up, “Why tell them.” He starts to pull out more bolts and screws as he begins to build a miniature dragon.
