Haruhito stops abruptly, turning around to help his team. “Dammit.” He mutters under his breath, grabbing Taga by the shoulder and trying to tug her out from the hole, but unsuccessfully, “You’re too heavy, take off your armour.” He commanded.

Kika hears the clicks and starts to sprint away, quickly tossing up a barrier to cover up a section of the wall facing her comrade, to protect her from some of the traps on that side, possibly also clogging anything being fired put while another barrier starts to prepare itself…

“What kind of trap is this?” Haruhito asked calmly, despite of his ally’s condition. He quickly broke into a sprint, “How long do we have to run for?”

Taga started to jog ahead, (she needs to put more effort into going faster because of her armor ‘n stuff) Just a sudden Taga’s leg plunged down to the hip, a series of clicks sounded from either wall. “Crap trap!! Kika follows closely along, staying behind as usual to not trigger anything and not to get hurt too badly again. She let’s her chariot glow again, checking and seeing her MP, “Okay, I’m still good for a while… Like 3/4 left.”

“Then lets do that.” He begins to walk faster, hunched over slightly and hands in his pockets.

“I think were about half way…If we hurry and truck through we might be able to be done in half the time we would to get to the  end.” Taga estimated.

“Yeah, I guess so.” Haruhito began walking, hands in his pockets, “Do you think this dungeon is gonna take much longer? I have to meet someone soon.” He says, glancing down at the skeleton as he walks by.

“Must have been a crit,” Taga lead the group onward, jumping over the skeleton.

“I didn’t think that would kill it,” He said, putting his hands in his pockets and beginning to walk, “I won’t take the next kill.”

Kika nods her head, dismissing her abilities and reabsorbing them to not waste the MP, which she had a great amount of, “I stand corrected.”

*The skeleton stumbled about like a chicken with its head cut off, it drew its sword and shield before it whirled around as its health decreased steadily. Taga parried its wild swings before it fell hard on it’s chest* “Nice kill man,” Taga smiled at Haruhito.

Haruhito looks at Kika, “My skills don’t come from this game, I’m a noob after all.” he says with his usual cold and commanding voice, “I’m going now.” he fixes his eyes on the skeleton and moves quickly yet silently through the shadows, almost catlike in his motions. Kika scratches her chin, “Will that work on a skeleton? I mean, it’s undead, I don’t know if sneak attack works the same here as it does in classic Dungeons and Dragons…”

“Yeah that’d be best…I think its a…wa…warrior type, looks like a thick boned skeleton,” Taga nodded using her hunter ability.

“Have they noticed us yet?” Haruhito whispered, crouching down and hiding in the shadows, “If not, I can ambush it. I am an assassin after all.” He glances at Taga for approval.

Kika stops in her tracks, her chariot at the ready again as she allows her more combat oriented comrades to move forward, her barrier being prepared one after the other.

*Taga sees a figure in the distance, she stops and stares at it. Inching a bit closer until she could see it’s tag* “I think this ones alone…might be hard…”

“I understand.” He said, looking down to the floor, and despite being argued with, he sounded slightly pleased, “Just… be careful.”

Kika sighs, “That’s kind of the point of what I do here… Help people I don’t know all too well so we survive together.”

Haruhito sighs, “Just… Don’t get hurt over someone, that you barely know, someone like me.” He says, looking to the ground,

Kika walks with them, listening to the man’s words and sinking her head down… “I can’t prevent everything you know… If I let you get hit, I would have broken my promise, no?”

“So there’s gonna be more? Well, I’m almost level 2 anyway.” He sighs, crossing his arms behind his head. Haruhito falls into step behind Kika. “Next time,” he muttered, just loud enough for her to hear him, “don’t try to be the hero.” He sped up his pace and walked past her.

*Taga nodded before looking her companions over once more, before leading the way to the next fight*

Kika nods, “Yeah, just go further, I’ll stay a bit farther back, but I’m all patched up and good now.” She smiles at the wolf fang, her wound healed, but her clothing still ripped.

“Yeah, I think this is a heavy floor. some Heavy hitters up to the way to the next part. You ok?” She looked over to Kika.

Haruhito pulls his sword out of the skeletons skull. “Is that the last one?” He asked, sounding bored.

Kika mends herself, a bit shaken by the other person’s reaction to her defensive actions. She looks at the other skeleton, getting another prayer in the making…

Haruhito cockily draws his sword, stepping close to the crippled skeleton, “Enough of this.” He murmers coldly, stabbing his sword into its eye socket and crushing its rib cage with a stomp.

“RAH! HEY!” Taga yelled at the skeleton before charging at it, she jumped and kicked into its side sending it into the wall. Crippling it. (Wolf fangs have strong leg strength, and as you can tell by now Taga’s one of those characters. the agro kind)

Haruhito, noticing the extent of his ally’s wounds, steps foreward, sheathing his sword. He looks her in the eye with his cold gaze and said with a quietly commanding voice, “next time, step down.” His voice softened slightly, “it’s not worth getting hurt to protect someone.”

Kika uses the charged barrier to guard her other ally, but takes a feral swing with a cry of pain, staggering back as her health was already below half with just the one hit. She hops back from the other slash to her, confident that the barrier would hold for her friend. The wolf fang finishes off the enemy, and she starts up a healing prayer… Read more

*The Skeleton hopped and slashed at Haruhito and Kika, it’s jaw chattering furiously to match its swings ferocity. Taga sounded a thanks to Kika before she slashed at the skeleton’s spine breaking it in two, It wriggled around swinging at Taga’s legs. She jumped onto The skeleton’s head reducing it to Dust and items*

Using the opening the barrier gave, Haruhito again sprints to the front line and dives down, doing a front roll to avoid the skeletons sword. He grabs its leg and with all his strength, twists the bone free from its socket, then again, quickly leaps away from the action.

Kika notices the landed hit on her ally, quickly charging a minor prayer of healing and casting it on them. She uses her other arm to prepare another barrier, watching the skeleton intently…

*The Skeleton struck the force field repeatedly, breaking it, before drawing it’s sword symotaniously with the other. It turned and swung at the pair, the same for Taga. Taga struck against the skeleton’s saber making the blades bounce off each other. She swung upward at the skeleton hitting it under the breast plate, denting it. The… Read more

Haruhito holsters his crossbow, realizing it would be useless against a skeleton. Taking the opening of the skeleton being stuck, he draws his shortsword and slashes at the skeleton, dislodging a few of its ribs. Then, he retreats back to wait for another opening to attack.

Kika looks at the tall skeleton, taking a step back and forming a barrier in front of its weapon’s hilt to at least hinder it as it tried to grab a weapon.

*Taga nodded back before waving her sword infront of the wall, It instantly flipped around revealing a 7 foot skeleton in armor as did the other side. Taga thrust her sword up the skeleton’s rib cage before whacking at it’s spine*

Kika smirks, looking at the wolf fang and giving a nod of approval. It was time.

Harhito nods, getting in a position where he has good aim yet is far enough away from the action to run if it comes to that.

Kika nods her head, looking to the level 1 person, “Cool… Everyone ready to go?” she asks, her next barrier at the ready for them.

“yeah, Maybe trigger it then immediately attack before they can draw their weapons,” Taga nodded.

Kika smirks a bit, “Perfect… Wanna ambush it, or just hide while it runs past?” She asks, gesturing to the remaining shank of meat on her, and even the crossbow held by her ally while her mind tried to form the two plans.

*Taga stops and observes the front of the party, She had grown suspicious to. she used her hunting skills to sharpen her vision and find clues to an ambush (I think thats what hunter does, like I’ve said I need to pick up the anime again). Haruhito falls back and crouches down, placing a bolt on his crossbow, scanning the area with catlike vigilance. “If there’s something here, it better come out soon. I don’t like to fight out in the open like this.” He says with a low voice, little over a whisper.

Kika smirks a bit, readying a barrier, “More like just whatever decides to jump out at us… So just any kind of enemy or…” Her eyes widen, “Hm… How long has this hallway gone?” She asks, her eyes darting around for any signs of a trap.
